Abstract: According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus includes a signage device and a cash register. The signage device executes a lottery, based on a presentation of a card medium in which lottery information is stored, and causes the card medium to store prize information which is obtained by executing the lottery. The cash register registers information of a purchased commodity, executes settlement on a result of the registration by using the card medium which stores amount-of-money information for commodity purchase, causes the medium to store lottery information, which enables the lottery, in the card medium in accordance with a content of the settlement, and presents, based on the card medium storing the prize information, a prize.

Abstract: A moving image generating method, a moving image generating apparatus and a storage medium for generating a moving image from a still image. According to one application, a moving image generating method uses a moving image generating apparatus which stores in advance a plurality of pieces of movement information showing movements of a plurality of movable points. The method includes, an obtaining step which obtains a still image; a setting step which sets a plurality of movement control points in the still image; a frame image generating step which moves the plurality of control points based on movements of movement information and deforms the still image to generate a plurality of frame images; and a moving image generating step which generates a moving image from a plurality of frames.

Abstract: A data storage apparatus has a data memory for storing schedule data. The schedule data includes date data, schedule contents data and pictorial symbol data representing schedule contents. When the schedule data is searched, pictorial symbols are read out from the schedule data stored in the data memory and the read-out pictorial symbols are displayed. If one of the displayed pictorial symbols is selected, the schedule data associated with the selected pictorial symbol is read out and displayed.
