  • Patent number: 11638951
Abstract: A casting mold is provided with a cavity portion and an overflow portion, and the overflow portion is connected to a gas flow path (suction path). A valve (an on-off valve, a shut-off valve) is provided between the gas flow path and the overflow portion. A heating method for a casting mold includes a step of setting the pressure in the cavity portion to a second pressure by sucking gas in the overflow portion and in the cavity portion while the valve is kept open for a second time period shorter than a first time period during casting. The heating method further includes a step of heating the casting mold by supplying molten metal into the cavity portion set at the second pressure, and solidifying the molten metal.

  • Patent number: 8077105
Abstract: Disclosed is a directional bar-type antenna which comprising a plurality of bar-shaped antenna elements including a core and a coil wound around the core. The first bar-shaped antenna element is disposed at a position of a mirror image of the second bar-shaped antenna element with respect to the core of the third bar-shaped antenna element. The first and second bar-shaped antenna elements is positioned such that one end of each of the first and second bar-shaped antenna elements is close to the third bar-shaped antenna element, and the other end is far from the third bar-shaped antenna element. In the present invention, a winding direction of the coil of the first bar-shaped antenna element is preferably identical to that of the coil of the second bar-shaped antenna element, and is opposite to that of the coil of the third bar-shaped antenna element.

  • Patent number: 7686141
Abstract: A brake-equipped retracting device (3) returns a liquid crystal display device (1) from a deployed position (1B) to a stored position (1A) using an elastic returning force of a spiral spring (18) that is wound up when the liquid crystal display device (1) is opened by the rotational force of a motor. A braking force for preventing the liquid crystal display device (1) from returning with too much force is applied to an input shaft (17a) of a reducer by having a rope (21) whose tensile force increases and decreases in relation to the opening and closing of the liquid crystal display device (1) be wound around a slip clutch (15) that is connected to the input shaft (17a). In emergency situations such as when the rope (21) breaks, a centrifugal grip (53) of a rotation-restraining mechanism (50) strikes an engagement notch surface (56b) on a fixed side, and the rotation of the input shaft (17a) is forcibly halted.
