  • Patent number: 9494171
Abstract: A valve housing of a multiple valve device is formed by being split into two parts, that is, a first housing block and a second housing block abutting against and separated away from each other at positions of facing joining surfaces. Three or more spool sliding bores are provided on the first housing block forming a three-dimensional structure. The other spool sliding bores are provided on the second housing block forming a three-dimensional structure. A relief valve for suppressing maximum pressures in a plurality of oil passages to a predetermined set pressure or less is provided on one of the first and second housing blocks. This relief valve is arranged at a position closer to the joining surfaces than each of the spool sliding bores provided in the one of housing blocks.

  • Patent number: 9167193
Abstract: A display device is provided that controls, considering affection due to a watcher's age and his viewing distance as human-visual characteristics, a display-screen brightness level at which the watcher does not feel glare. The display-screen brightness is most suitably set by simple calculation using relationships among watcher's ages, display sizes, glare levels, and screen-illuminance levels, etc. obtained by a subjective-assessment experiment. According to this display device, considering watcher's various conditions such as the age, the visual acuity, and the viewing distance, even if the watcher watches the display for a relatively long time, the watcher does not feel tiredness; thus, comfortable watching can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 7616809
Abstract: Color-difference signals that become unnecessary after rotation are deleted from a second pixel while saving color-difference signals that become necessary after rotation in the second pixel, to thereby form image data conforming to YUV422 format. The image data is then rotated, and subsequently the color-difference signals saved in the second pixel are returned to the original first pixel, to thereby form image data conforming to YUV422 format.

  • Patent number: 5122109
Abstract: In a known folding drum of a folding machine for use with a rotary press, a web to be cut on the folding drum is guided and held by a plurality of parallel bands aligned in the axial direction of the folding drum and spanning a gap of the folding drum. Tips of a folding blade project to the outside of the folding drum through the gaps between the respective bands. In the present invention, at least two bands are integrally connected by a respective band mount portion with a plurality of groups of such integrally connected bands being provided. Each band mount portion is mounted to the folding drum via respective adjusting devices such that the expansion of the bands of each group thereof in the circumferential direction of the folding drum can be adjusted. Preferably, each adjusting device includes an adjusting plate engaged with an adjusting rack to which the bands are mounted, and an adjusting shaft.
