  • Patent number: 8996913
Abstract: The data transfer control device of the present invention is capable of improving data transfer efficiency while discarding error data, a DMA parameter storing control unit (1112) temporarily stores parameters to a store resource; a data processing unit (1201) performs error detection processing for data that is transferred; a DMA parameter return control unit (1122) causes parameters used at transfer time of data for which the processing result in the error detection processing was an error to be returned as parameters for subsequent data transfer use from the store resource; and a completion notification delay control unit (1121), with regard to the parameters, causes the completion notification to a host system that indicates that data transfer has completed normally for each of the parameters to wait for normal completion of data transfer that uses parameters that had been set earlier than each of the first-mentioned parameters.

  • Patent number: 8959261
Abstract: A data transfer control device 1061 includes a read pointer update unit 5004 updating a value of a global read pointer RPg with a value of a local read pointer (first local read pointer) RPl1 held by a local read pointer hold unit 5007 when completion of data transfer is recognized and a position, in an order of reading descriptors, of a descriptor D3010a indicated by the local read pointer RPl1 is earlier than positions of descriptors D3010b and D3010c respectively indicated by local read pointers (second local read pointers) RPl2 and RPl3 held by the other data transfer control devices 1062 and 1063.

  • Patent number: 8077867
Abstract: The present invention relates to a confidential information processing device, a confidential information processing apparatus, and a confidential information processing method, and particularly to a confidential information processing device which performs multiple cryptographic computation for different target data included in a data stream. With this configuration, the context control unit outputs the stream on which the cryptographic computation is performed to an external device or other stream analysis unit. Thus, by setting the number of cryptographic computation on a correspondence table, the number of computation can be set to any number. Thus, the confidential information processing device according to the present invention can perform any number of cryptographic computations on one stream. Furthermore, without outputting the stream whenever a cryptographic computation is completed, multiple cryptographic computations can be performed with one stream input.

  • Publication number: 20110170687
Abstract: The content decrypting apparatus 2000 of the present invention stores a chaining value generated during decryption of the last ciphertext block of a chunk in association with a content type and a frame number to an inter-chunk chaining value holding unit 216. When decrypting the first ciphertext block of a chunk, and in case where a chaining value is stored to the inter-chunk chaining value holding unit 216 in association with a content type and a frame number corresponding to the chunk, the content decrypting apparatus decrypts the first ciphertext block of the chunk using the chaining value. Hence, the content decrypting apparatus pertaining to the present invention is capable of correctly decrypting data streams having a data structure in which ciphertext chunks belonging to a first encrypted frame are disposed in between two ciphertext chunks belonging to a second encrypted frame.

  • Publication number: 20080170686
Abstract: The confidential information processing device according to the present invention includes: a stream analysis unit which determines the target data by analyzing the data stream; a cryptographic computation unit which holds a context including a key used for the cryptographic computation, an initial value, and intermediate information during cryptographic computation, and perform the cryptographic computation using the context that is being held; a context storage unit which stores a plurality of the contexts; a correspondence table storage unit which stores a correspondence table which indicates the number of cryptographic computations to be performed for the data stream and a context to be used for each of the cryptographic computations; a context control unit which, when the context held in the cryptographic computation unit does not match the context to be used indicated in the correspondence table, saves the context held in the cryptographic computation unit to the context storage unit and restore the con
