Patent number: 8112904Abstract: A drum-type washer/dryer having an evaporator for performing dehumidification by cooling air drawn from the inner space of a drum and also having condenser for heating the air dehumidified by the evaporator, wherein the air heated by the condenser is made to sequentially pass through a duct and a blowhole and blown as dry air to clothes in the drum. A backflow preventing portion is provided in the duct, and when bubbles flow back into the duct from the inner space of the drum through the blowhole, the backflow preventing portion functions as resistance for preventing the back flow of the bubbles.Type: GrantFiled: October 17, 2006Date of Patent: February 14, 2012Assignees: Kabushiki Kaisha Toshiba, Toshiba Home Appliances Corporation, Toshiba Consumer Electronics Holdings CorporationInventors: Tetsuyuki Kono, Tatsuya Saito, Tatsuo Ioku, Satoru Nishiwaki

Publication number: 20050034491Abstract: A washing machine includes a wash tub (9) in which a predetermined amount of wash liquid is reserved, a heating unit (17) heating the wash liquid, a temperature sensor (45) detecting a temperature of the wash liquid, a drive unit (15) rotating the wash tub (9), and a control device (46) controlling the driving unit (15) so that rotation of the wash tub (9) is controlled. The control device (46) changes a rotating mode of the wash tub (9) according to one of a plurality of temperature ranges to which the temperature of the wash liquid detected by the temperature sensor (45) belongs.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2002Publication date: February 17, 2005Inventors: Takako Tazawa, Satoru Nishiwaki

Patent number: 5478060Abstract: A guide jig (1) for a wiring harness assembly plate comprises a support tube (3) mounted and fixed on a plate member (2), and an electric wire guide rod (4) having an electric wire guide portion (4c) for guiding a bundle of electric wires (15) and supported by the support tube (3) for extension and retraction along the axis thereof. The support tube (3) and the electric wire guide rod (4) are supported non-rotatably on their axes relative to each other. The electric wire guide rod (4) is operable to change the positions thereof between a guide extended position in which the electric wire guide portion (4c) guides and holds the bundle of electric wires (15) and a guide retracted position in which the electric wire guide portion (4c) is retracted to a level lower than the height of the bundle of electric wires (15) being laid.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 1994Date of Patent: December 26, 1995Assignee: Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd.Inventors: Katsutoshi Sugimoto, Satoru Nishiwaki

Patent number: 5075667Abstract: A humidity sensor and a method for producing the same, in which an insulating film is first formed on a substrate. A first sensing film is formed on a first electrode to be separated by a space from the insulating film. A second sensing film of the same material as the first sensing film is again formed on the first sensing film and the insulating film, the space therebetween being filled with the second sensing film. Thus a uniform surface etching of the second sensing film is effected, to obtain a continuous flat film layer composed of the sensing film and the insulating film with a continuous flat surface, and in which a second electrode is formed on at least the sensing film.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 1989Date of Patent: December 24, 1991Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventors: Satoru Nishiwaki, Hiroshi Miyazaki, Koji Murakami, Yukinobu Takahashi
