  • Publication number: 20080309957
Abstract: Information controlling image processing or image forming performed on image data of a document is embedded into the image data as control data. When the control data is detected in the image data, the control data is analyzed to determine specific image processing or image forming to be performed on each page of the image data.

  • Publication number: 20080303459
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a generator control unit having improved voltage response in a system which is not provided with a battery in a DC output unit. In order to control the DC voltage of the DC voltage output terminal in a state where an electric load is connected to the DC voltage output terminal of a power generation unit, a PWM signal generation unit 429 generates a field voltage to be applied to a field winding terminal of the power generation unit. A feedback control unit 422 calculates a field voltage command value to be given to the PWM signal generation unit 429. Further, the feedback control unit 422 includes a PT control unit 423 which calculates a voltage deviation between a DC voltage detection value and a DC voltage command value to generate the field voltage command value through a PI operation based on the voltage deviation.

  • Publication number: 20080106769
Abstract: An input processor performs an input processing of image data. A memory unit has a work area for combining the image data. A writing unit sequentially writes the image data on which the input processing is performed in the work area of the memory unit. A determining unit determines, when the image data are combined, whether image data to be arranged in a direction orthogonal to an image output direction are written in the work area. An output processor performs, when it is determined that the image data are written in the work area, an output processing of the image data to be arranged in the direction orthogonal to the image output direction.

  • Publication number: 20080062450
Abstract: A storage unit temporarily stores first image data input from an input device and second image data to be output to an output device. An image-data input/output processing unit performs processes of inputting the first image data from the input device and outputting the second image data to the output device. An execution-condition determining unit determines a condition for the processes of inputting and outputting the image data, and switches processing modes between a normal processing mode and a low-speed processing mode based on a determined condition.

  • Publication number: 20080052484
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an input device, an encoder, a memory, a first allocator, a data block size determination mechanism, a second allocator, and a processor. The input device receives image data of a given data size and transmits the image data in N data blocks. The ā€œNā€ represents a first given number. The encoder encodes the N data blocks transmitted from the input unit. The memory stores the N data blocks encoded by the encoder. The first allocator allocates, before encoding, N memory areas of a specified memory size within the memory. The determination mechanism determines whether each of the N data blocks is larger than the memory size. The second allocator dynamically allocates an additional memory area within the memory when the determination mechanism determines that one of the N data blocks is larger than the memory size. The processor retrieves the image data for processing thereof.

  • Publication number: 20080007190
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a motor control apparatus and on-vehicle motor drive system which can easily protect components of an inverter from overvoltage even if surplus power occurs in a generator in a system without a battery between a generator and a motor. An inverter 32 converts the DC power generated by a generator 21 to AC power, and supplies it to an AC motor 40. A controller 100 controls DC-to-AC conversion in the inverter 32. Interruption means including an overvoltage detector 36 and a semiconductor switch 38 prevents the power generated by the generator 21 from being supplied to the inverter 32 when the inverter 32 is stopped.

  • Patent number: 4697187
Abstract: A transmitting power control system is disclosed wherein a master earth station sends a pilot signal to a satellite which retransmits it to the master station as well as to slave earth stations. A beacon signal is also sent from the satellite to the master station which compares it with the received pilot signal and controls its own transmission power level according to the result of the comparison so that the power level of retransmitted pilot signal is maintained constant. A warning signal is sent from the master station to all the slave stations when the received pilot signal decreases below a prescribed value corresponding to a predetermined precipitation. Each slave station receives the pilot signal from the satellite and controls its own transmission power level according to the received pilot signal.
