  • Patent number: 10553174
Abstract: In a display device in which source lines on a display panel are driven from both ends, when a connection confirmation signal (S2) output from a source board (13) indicates abnormality, a power supply circuit (18) on a control board (12) stops outputting a power supply voltage (Va) used when source drivers drive the source lines. The control board (12) outputs a high-level connection confirmation signal (S1) to the source board (13), the source board (13) outputs the connection confirmation signal (S1) to the control board (12) as the connection confirmation signal (S2), and the control board (12) pulls down the connection confirmation signal (S2) to a low level. With this, it is possible to prevent serious damage from occurring even when a connection failure or the like occurs.

  • Patent number: 5245482
Abstract: A magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus includes a plurality of heads attached on a rotary drum, a driver for driving the heads and a tape, head switching circuitry for producing one video signal by switching video signals picked up by the plurality of heads, video signal processing circuitry for processing the video signal produced by the head switching circuitry, and head switching point control circuitry for controlling the head switching circuitry so that the point of the head switching by the head switching circuit is included in the horizontal blanking period of the video signal. The head switching is performed within the horizontal blanking period of the video signal, and therefore no skew due to the head switching is generated in the reproduced video image.

  • Patent number: 5119194
Abstract: A distortion compensation circuit of a VTR detects distortion of an input ramp signal during a blanking period of a reproduced video signal and compensates the distortion of the entire reproduced video signal. The input ramp signal included in the digital reproduced video signal is compared with a comparison ramp signal equal to a ramp signal to be recorded and the difference thereof can be obtained as a compensation data signal. During the blanking period of the reproduced video signal, the compensation data signal is stored in a compensating memory, using the input ramp signal as an address signal, and during a non-blanking period, the contents of the compensating memory are read out, using the reproduced video signal itself as an address signal. The read compensation data signal is added to the reproduced video signal, whereby distortion of the reproduced video signal is compensated.
