  • Publication number: 20040252381
Abstract: A documentation camera is capable of correcting a trapezoidal distortion and also adjusting the central position of a displayed image of a document when the image is zoomed in at the time the image is captured obliquely to the document. The zooming magnification of a zoom lens in a lens unit is detected by a zooming magnification detector, and a CPU searches a ROM based on the detected zooming magnification to read, from the ROM, parameters required in a trapezoidal distortion correcting process and also parameters required to adjust the central position of the displayed image. The CPU transmits the former parameters to a trapezoidal distortion correcting circuit to perform the trapezoidal distortion correcting process and also transmits the latter parameters to a shifting circuit to adjust the central position of the displayed image.

  • Patent number: 6460087
Abstract: A method of transferring file of the present invention by the two simultaneous data transmissions comprises the steps of transmitting data in a forward direction starting from a first specified position to a bottom in the file, and transmitting data in a backward direction starting from a second specified position to a top in the file. And a method of transferring file in FTP of the present invention comprises the steps of establishing a control connection, establishing multiple data connection, dividing a file into segments from each arbitrary point in the file, transferring segments through each of the multiple data connections, respectively, and synthesizing file from the segments transferred through the multiple data connections.

  • Publication number: 20020138518
Abstract: A method for code processing of document data comprises steps of encoding a document data written in a description language of an extensible text format to a code data, based on a translation table written in a description language of an extensible text format, and processing the code data as the document data based on the translation table. The translation table defines link information of other translation tables. Also, the translation table defines a code length and a code assigned to items of the link information, an element name, an element value of the element name, an attribute name designated in the element name, an attribute value of the attribute name. Furthermore, the translation table defines a code length and a code assigned for designate parentage structure between one element name and other element name.

  • Patent number: 6107961
Abstract: A map display system includes a plurality of geographic information servers, a geographic information search server and clients, connected to each other through network. The geographic information search server searches a plurality of geographic information servers and generates a combination list containing information of existential place of the plurality of geographic information servers. The clients obtain a plurality of geographic information from the plurality of geographic information servers designated by the combination list and display the obtained plurality of geographic information while superimposing them so that the coordinates thereof coincide each other on the same screen.

  • Patent number: 5764061
Abstract: A remotely operated submersible robot 10 is provided with two differential triaxial orthogonal dc magnetic sensing units, 1 and 2, each comprising two triaxial orthogonal dc magnetic sensors spaced at a predetermined distance apart and with their corresponding axes set in parallel; each triaxial orthogonal dc magnetic sensor incorporating three dc magnetic sensing elements sensitive only to a magnetic field in a specific axial direction and disposed such that the axial directions of respective dc magnetic sensing elements cross each other at right angles. Analog signals sent out from the differential triaxial orthogonal dc magnetic sensing units 1 and 2 are converted into digital signals by an analog-to-digital converter, and transmitted to a mother ship 20 via a tether cable 6.

  • Patent number: 4941084
Abstract: A resource management system and method in a distributed processing system in which a plurality of computers are interconnected through a transmission line. A computer makes, upon accessing to a resource of another computer, inquiries about "Whether the intended resource exists" and "Ordering that if the intended resource exists, the interrogated computer should return a response indicative of attribute information of that resource" by using a so-called broadcasting function to simultaneously apprize all the computers constituting the distributed processing system of the same message.
