Publication number: 20240093769Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus is to be applied to a vehicle including a torque converter and an engine. The vehicle control apparatus includes a turbine hub, a lock-up piston, a damper mechanism, and a control system. The damper mechanism permits relative rotation between a hub of the turbine hub and a cylindrical part of the lock-up piston. The control system controls the engine. The control system calculates, with the lock-up piston engaged with a crankshaft of the engine, a PV value that is a product of a sliding surface pressure and a sliding speed between the hub and the cylindrical part. When the PV value is greater than a threshold, the control system changes an engine torque more gradually than when the PV value is equal to or less than the threshold. The engine torque is an output torque of the crankshaft.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 17, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: Yuuki SUZUKI, Tomoka YOSHIKAWA, Kazuki KODAIRA, Satoru KUDO, Hiroki SENDA

Publication number: 20200278697Abstract: A thruster controller is used in a flying device that has at least two thrusters and a main controller that outputs an instruction value to the thruster for controlling a thrust of the thruster. The thruster controller includes an instruction value obtainer and an instruction value generator. The instruction value obtainer obtains an instruction value that is output from the main controller to the thruster based on an assumption that a propeller pitch is fixed. The instruction value generator outputs, to a pitch changing mechanism of the thruster, a propeller pitch instruction value generated from the obtained instruction value for setting the propeller pitch, and outputs, to a motor, a corrected rotation number instruction value for setting a rotation number of the motor by correcting the instruction value based on the propeller pitch instruction value.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 6, 2020Publication date: September 3, 2020Inventors: Satoru YOSHIKAWA, Takenori MATSUE, Tetsuji MITSUDA, Masataka HIRAI
