  • Publication number: 20040141240
Abstract: A lens for image pickup is provided in which various aberrations are corrected satisfactorily, the optical length is at maximum approximately 6 mm, and moreover a sufficient back focus is secured. This lens for image pickup comprises a first lens, an aperture diaphragm, and a second lens, positioned in this order from the object side toward the image side. The first lens is a resin lens with a meniscus shape, with the convex surface facing the object side, and having positive refractive power. The second lens is a resin lens with a meniscus shape, with the convex surface facing the image side, and having positive refractive power.

  • Publication number: 20040125468
Abstract: A pickup lens is provided in which various aberrations are satisfactorily corrected, which can be manufactured at low cost, and which has an optical length of 10 mm or less. This pickup lens is configured by arranging, in order from the object side, a first lens L1 with a meniscus shape with concave surface on the object side and having negative refractive power, an aperture diaphragm S, a second lens L2 with convex surfaces on both sides and having positive refractive power, a third lens L3 with concave surfaces on both sides and having negative refractive power, and a fourth lens L4 with convex surfaces on both sides and having positive refractive power; and with the following conditions satisfied.

Abstract: An image pickup lens is provided in which various aberrations are satisfactorily corrected, and the optical length is not more than 6 mm, and moreover a sufficient back focus is secured. This image pickup lens is configured by arranging, in order from the object side, an aperture diaphragm S1; a first lens L1 having a meniscus shape with concave surface facing the object side, and having positive refractive power; a second diaphragm S2; and a second lens L2 having a meniscus shape with concave surface facing the image side, and having negative refractive power. The aperture diaphragm S1 forms an incidence plane. The second diaphragm S2 provided between the first lens L1 and the second lens L2 is inserted in order to cut out so-called flare, which is light which strikes the peripheral edge of a lens or similar and is irregularly reflected.

  • Publication number: 20030081330
Abstract: An imaging lens having a two-lens composition, whilst maintaining a sufficient brightness, for example, a brightness of f number 2.8, the lens being extremely small, and achieving a short optical path and low distortion aberration, whilst enabling positive use of plastic lenses. An imaging lens comprising, in sequence from the object side to the image side: an aperture diaphragm, a first lens, a second diaphragm, and a second lens; the first lens consisting of a meniscus-shaped lens having positive power with a concave face oriented towards the object side; the second lens consisting of a meniscus-shaped lens with a concave face oriented towards the image side; wherein at least one face of the first lens is an aspherical face, and one or more faces of the second lens is an aspherical face, in such a manner that the imaging lens as a whole is a lens system comprising at least two aspherical faces, and satisfying each of the following condition equations (1), (2), (3).
