  • Patent number: 6819791
Abstract: A color image analysis method makes it possible to analyze plural components of a compound individually through formation of an image. Initially, a picture or the image of the compound including the plurality of components is taken by a fluorescence digital image microscope. Then, one or more images of one of the components are extracted or divided from the image of the compound on the basis of color-phase, or color-phase and brightness.

  • Publication number: 20040145983
Abstract: A disk type record playback device having a wobble signal extracting bandpass filter for controlling a filter's center frequency according to a frequency follow-up control loop including a dummy filter identical in configuration to a filter to be controlled, and a phase comparator is capable of controlling the center frequency of the bandpass filter with satisfactory accuracy. A frequency variable lowpass filter is provided in a preceding stage of the phase comparator constituting a frequency follow-up circuit and supplies a signal obtained by eliminating harmonic components from a frequency follow-up clock signal to the phase comparator. A cutoff frequency of the lowpass filter is changed in cooperation with a center frequency of the bandpass filter, based on a signal outputted from the frequency follow-up control loop.

  • Publication number: 20040077964
Abstract: A magnetic field distribution measurement device (1) provides a non-contact magnetic field measurement on a subject's chest at a plurality of coordinates and forms therefrom time-series magnetic field distribution data. A first arithmetic device (2) in response generates image data representing a three-dimensional, intramyocardial current density distribution. A second arithmetic device (3) receives a plurality of tomographic image data separately obtained by a tomographic diagnosis apparatus and processes the data to generate three-dimensional, anatomical image data. A display device (4) receives these data and displays on an anatomical image an image representing an intramyocardial current density. This can facilitate identifying an anatomical, positional relationship of an abnormal, electrical reentry circuit caused in heart muscle. Furthermore, the anatomical image may be replaced with an image representing a normal stimulation propagation circuit and serving as a template.

A first arithmetic device (2) in response generates image data representing an intramyocardial excitation conduction rate. A second arithmetic device (3) receives a plurality of tomographic image data separately obtained by a tomographic diagnosis apparatus and processes the data to generate three-dimensional, anatomical image data. A display device (4) receives these data and displays on an anatomical image an image representing an intramyocardial excitation current. • Patent number: 5965746
Abstract: Provided are methods for the synthesis of N-cyclic maleamic acids and N-cyclic maleimide derivatives, as well as N-cyclic maleamic acids and N-cyclic maleimides synthesized thereby. The method for synthesis of an N-cyclic maleamic acid involves reacting an amino group-containing N-cyclic compound with maleic anhydride in acetic acid to obtain an N-cyclic maleamic acid. An N-cyclic maleimide can be formed by adding hexamethyldisilazane to an N-cyclic maleamic acid prepared according to the above-described method, thereby cyclizing a maleamic acid site of the N-cyclic maleamic acid. The described methods allow for the products to be obtained at high yields.

  • Patent number: 5830666
Abstract: A method of detecting nucleic acids, proteins, or protein nucleic acid complexes. The method includes binding an enzyme, such as phosphatase, to a specimen of the nucleic acid, protein, or protein nucleic acid complex. The enzyme is then reacted with a fluorescein derivative phosphate ester to obtain a fluorescein derivative phosphate ester hydrolysate. The hydrolysate is then irradiated with excitation light, and the emitted fluorescein is detected.

  • Patent number: 5728531
Abstract: A method of detecting nucleic acid utilizes hybridization between the nucleic acid to be detected which is present on an immobilizing support and a DNA probe which is complementary to at least a portion of the desired nucleotide sequence of the nucleic acid. The present DNA probe includes a hapten attached via a linker which a hapten is gibberellin or a gibberellin derivative. After hybridization by reaction between the nucleic acid to be detected and the DNA probe, the unreacted DNA probe is removed, and then labelled anti-hapten antibody is allowed to bind with the DNA probe of the hybrid and the labelling is used to detect the nucleic acid.Accordingly, stable detecting sensitivity may be achieved regardless of the label mixing ratio or labelling ratio, and thus regardless of the nucleotide sequence composition of the nucleic acid being tested.

  • Patent number: 5529143
Abstract: An engine room structure of an automotive vehicle is provided with a power transmission unit consisting of, for example, a transfer, between a pair of left-hand and right-hand front side frames, a front axle extending outside from the power transmission unit in the transverse direction of the vehicle body. The steering rack functioning as an element of the front-wheel steering mechanism is so disposed within the engine room as to extend in the transverse direction of the vehicle body and as to lie in the position underneath the spower transmission unit. In other words, the power transmission unit is disposed in the position above the steering rack. This arrangement for the power transmission unit and the steering rack can provide a space between them, thereby lowering the positions of the front side frames.
