  • Patent number: 6867232
Abstract: A gel-like resin molded article contained in a volatilization control container is provided. A gelled drug containing allyl isothiocyanate and a resin base is contained in a container, and the container is provided with an opening portion which occupies a contact area between the gelled drug and air in the proportion of 0.01 to 50%. Alternatively, the container is made of a thermoplastic resin film whose permeability to allyl isothiocyanate is from 0.05 to 10 mg/cm2 day. The molded article controls the volatilization rate and volatilization time period of allyl isothiocyanate by gelling allyl isothiocyanate.

  • Patent number: 4962168
Abstract: A flame-retardant TAIC is polymerized in the presence of a polymerization modifier and a polymerization initiator. As the polymerization modifier, 6H-dibenz [c,e] [1,2] oxaphosphorine-6-oxide is used in an amount of 1 to 200% by weight on the basis on the weight of triallyl isocyanurate.

  • Patent number: 4582452
Abstract: A process for forming a gel by gelling an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polymer with a chromium compound as a gelling agent, in which a copolymer of acrylamide, 0.5 to 40% by mole of an unsaturated sulfonic acid or its salt, and optionally an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its salt having an intrinsic viscosity of at least 10 in 1N-NaNO.sub.3 at 30.degree. C., is used as the water-soluble polymer, and which is availably applied to improvement of water-oil ratio in oil production and to civil engineering for preventing leakage of underground water. The formed gel is very stable in a water system containing salts in high concentrations at high temperatures.
