  • Patent number: 7856835
Abstract: The present invention provides a hot water supply apparatus capable of reducing energy consumption. That is, except during operation of heating water, when a detection temperature of a temperature sensor becomes equal to or lower than a set temperature, a circulating pump is operated and a compressor is operated at a second operating frequency having a lower frequency than a first operating frequency, thereby the compressor does not have to be repeatedly operated and stopped, and can be continuously operated in a state of reduced heating power.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 11, 2008
Date of Patent: December 28, 2010
    Assignee: Sanden Corporation

  • Publication number: 20080230620
Abstract: A hot water supply apparatus, capable of ensuring high safety in supplying hot water in case of power failure, which is configured as follows: When a voltage detected by a voltage sensor is a preset voltage or less, a mixing valve is operated so as to obtain a predetermined valve opening corresponding to a temperature detected by a temperature sensor. This permits the mixing valve to be driven by electric power when a voltage of a power supply drops, and the mixing valve to have such a valve opening that a temperature of hot water to be supplied to a user is a predetermined temperature or less, thus supplying hot water at a predetermined temperature or less to the user in case of power failure.
