  • Publication number: 20230081383
Abstract: A control device includes a first control substrate including a processor and a communication interface; and a second control substrate including a processor and a communication interface. The first control substrate and the second control substrate are connected through the communication interfaces. When occurrence of an error in data communication through the communication interfaces is detected, at least one of the processor of the first control substrate and the processor of the second control substrate performs the data communication using unused signal lines among signal lines provided in the communication interfaces.

  • Patent number: 7028573
Abstract: An opening and closing device for moving a movable member which includes a drive gear connected to a power source, a driven gear geared with the drive gear, an immovable portion supporting the drive gear and the driven gear, and a dynamic transmission mechanism connected to the driven gear so that the driven gear and the dynamic transmission mechanism rotate together as a unit. The dynamic transmission mechanism transmits a drive force of the power source from the driven gear to the movable member. A direction of a rotational force affecting the driven gear via the dynamic transmission mechanism in accordance with a state of the movable member fluctuates. The opening and closing device further includes a friction member located at least at one position between relatively movable facing surfaces of the immovable portion, the drive gear, the driven gear, and the dynamic power transmission mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6305999
Abstract: An outboard motor includes an engine holder, an engine which is disposed above the engine holder in a state of the outboard motor mounted to a hull and in which a crankshaft extends substantially perpendicularly, and an oil pan disposed below the engine holder. A drive shaft housing is disposed below the oil pan and is formed with an exhaust chamber and a water pump is driven by the drive shaft so as to pump up a cooling water. A cooling water passage is formed in the oil pan and the drive shaft housing to guide the cooling water pumped up by the water pump to the engine. A relief valve is disposed on the way of the cooling water passage so as to discharge the cooling water into the exhaust chamber.
