  • Patent number: 7339588
Abstract: The present invention is a character image generation system for generating outline font based on character information and displaying the outline font on a display with a prescribed number of pixels. The character image generation system subdivides a curve expressed by character outline information corresponding to inputted character information, calculates the difference between coordinates at each end of the subdivided curve, compares the difference with a predetermined threshold value and sequentially calculates coordinates for each pixel, based on this comparison result.

  • Publication number: 20070188498
Abstract: In order to generate a character main body including a character outline from data in which character shape information is stored as a character outline and generate a character with a design, this method comprises steps of generating the outline of the character main body, setting decoration process contents to be applied to the character main body, operating in such a way that the lower-order bits of the character gradation of the generated outline can be outline end information, setting a decoration position in a character outer fringe on the basis of the outline end information for determining on which side of the main body is located the pixel, on the left or right side, generating character decoration by controlling the gradation value of a pixel in which the flag is set and painting out the character main body excluding the generated character decoration.

  • Patent number: 7243642
Abstract: A breather device comprises a breather chamber (22) provided in a valve arm chamber (2) arranged above a cylinder head of an engine. In the breather chamber, blow-by gas including oil mist is separated into oil component and gas component, and the oil mist is removed from the blow-by gas. The interior of the breather chamber is alternately divided into plural horizontally juxtaposed rooms (22a, 22b, 22c) by a partition (23) extended from a bottom surface of the breather chamber and a partition (2a) extended from a ceiling surface of the breather chamber. Plural oil trap members (10) for trapping oil mist in the blow-by gas are arranged in the breather chamber. Especially, the oil trap member arranged at a blow-by gas inlet of the breather chamber is held by a holder (11) made separately from members (2, 7) forming the valve arm chamber (5).

  • Publication number: 20070070071
Abstract: A Bezier curve constituting outline font data represents a curve by four coordinate values of a start point, an end point, and two control points. The curve is represented by two coordinates of the start point and the end point in collinear approximation, and by three coordinates of the start point, an intersecting point of two lines, and the end point in bi-linear approximation. In curve pattern approximation, when 32 curve patterns are prepared, the curve is represented by 5-bit data of two coordinates of the start point and the end point, and a pattern number. By effectively employing these three kinds of processes, it is possible to represent a Bezier curve constituting the outline font data with a reduced data volume.

  • Publication number: 20060209092
Abstract: A display apparatus is designed to make a display corresponding to one pixel through the use of a plurality of rectangular display elements. The apparatus comprises a multi-gradation character generating unit for generating information on a multi-gradation character image obtained by gradating a character edge portion and an element display control unit for controlling a display state in a display unit on the basis of information on this multi-gradation character image so that the multi-gradation character image is displayed in a state where each of the rectangular display elements constituting the display unit is associated with one or more pixels, thus reducing the quantization error so that character display with high visibility is achievable in the case of display of highly fine characters.

  • Publication number: 20060065926
Abstract: A capacity layer is formed of non-doped polysilicon. Unlike capacity layers formed of an oxide film, generation of seams and the like can be suppressed and thereby a stable capacity layer can be formed. Moreover, polysilicon used as a capacity layer may be doped polysilicon, and an oxide film formed on the surface of the polysilicon also serves as a capacity film. Thus, provision of an insulated gate device featuring low capacity is made possible.
