Abstract: A chlorinated rubber composition including a chlorinated rubber, a metal deactivator, an acid acceptor, and an antioxidant respectively at a particular amount is provided. The chlorinated rubber composition is capable of providing a chlorinated rubber composition which can be used in producing a hose exhibiting excellent resistance to degradation by zinc together with the sufficient physical properties such as resistance to thermal aging, oil resistance, and adhesion, as well as a hose produced by using such chlorinated rubber composition for the rubber layer.

Abstract: A chlorinated rubber composition capable of giving a hose which satisfactorily retains material properties including resistance to thermal deterioration, oil resistance, and adhesive properties and further has excellent resistance to zinc deterioration. Also provided is a hose employing the chlorinated rubber composition as a rubber layer. The chlorinated rubber composition comprises a chlorinated rubber, a metal deactivator, an acid acceptor, and an antioxidant, wherein the amount of the metal deactivator is 0.3 parts by mass or larger per 100 parts by mass of the chlorinated rubber, that of the acid acceptor is 1 part by mass or larger per 100 parts by mass of the chlorinated rubber, and that of the antioxidant is 0.1-10 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the chlorinated rubber.
