  • Publication number: 20070251270
Abstract: A method for producing a glass substrate for a magnetic disk by polishing a circular glass plate, which comprises a step of polishing the principal plane of the circular glass plate by using a slurry containing a CeO2 crystal powder, the CeO2 crystal powder being obtained in such a manner that a melt containing CeO2 is quenched to obtain an amorphous material, and the amorphous material is subjected to heat treatment to obtain a CeO2 crystals-precipitated amorphous material, which is subjected to acid treatment to separate and extract the CeO2 crystal powder from the CeO2 crystals-precipitated amorphous material.

  • Publication number: 20070104887
Abstract: A process for producing a glass plate with conductive printed wiring which does not require a new screen for each model and which can easily be adjusted for desired electric heating performance or antenna performance, and a conductive toner for such a process. A conductive toner comprising at least one member selected from the group consisting of a thermoplastic resin (A) having carboxyl groups introduced and having T100 of from 300 to 450° C., a polypropylene (B) having carboxyl groups introduced, and a thermoplastic resin (C) having T100 of from 300 to 450° C., conductive fine particles, and glass frit-containing particles. T100 is a temperature at the time when a weight change of the resin has become no longer observed during a temperature rise from room temperature at a rate of 10° C./min by means of a thermogravimetric analyzer (TG).

  • Patent number: 6902815
Abstract: There is provided a coating liquid for forming a colored transparent conductive film using ruthenium in a fine particle form, which has a satisfactory electromagnetic wave shielding effect, which is excellent in transparency, chemical resistance, and abrasion resistance, and which achieves a neutral transmitted color tone. There are provided a substrate with the colored transparent conductive film and a method for its production, and a display device having the substrate as a front panel. A coating liquid for forming a colored transparent conductive film is one characterized by containing noble metal-supporting ruthenium in a fine particle form wherein a noble metal except for ruthenium is supported in a fine particle form on ruthenium. A method for making the noble metal supported in the fine particle form is a method of adding a reducing agent into a dispersing liquid containing ruthenium particles and then adding thereinto a solvent containing a compound of a noble metal.
