  • Publication number: 20090268239
Abstract: An information processing apparatus determines whether a combination of print setting data and drawing data is a standard combination. The information processing apparatus converts the drawing data into drawing data of another format or converts the drawing data into image data if the combination of the print setting data and the drawing data is determined not to be the standard combination.

  • Publication number: 20090199011
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a classifying unit configured to classify structural elements under predetermined attributes; a storage unit configured to store data, which describes which attribute among the attributes of the structural elements is a target of electronic signature verification, in association with the output destination of a structured document; an attaching unit configured to attach electronic signatures to the structural elements; and an inserting unit configured to refer to the stored data and data of the structured document, generate tree data which corresponds to the output destination of the structured document and indicates which structural element is a target of electronic signature verification among the structural elements to which electronic signatures have been attached, and insert the tree data in the data of the structured document.

  • Patent number: 7570374
Abstract: A document generation apparatus has a comparator that compares the type of language of original document data and the type of language provided at a reproduction terminal that reproduces the original document data, and a generator that generates document data with font based on the original document that does not include a character font when results of a comparison performed by the comparator indicate that both types of languages match, and generates document data with font based on the original document that does include a character font used in the original document data when the results of the comparison performed by the comparator indicate that both types of language do not match.

  • Publication number: 20090135448
Abstract: An information processing apparatus receives first print setting information of a document file to be printed from a printing apparatus via a network, and analyzes it. Based on the analysis result, the information processing apparatus generates divided document files by dividing the document file into data each to be output on one print sheet. The information processing apparatus generates second print setting information by rewriting the first print setting information so as to obtain the same print results of the divided document files as those of the document file before division. The information processing apparatus encrypts each generated divided document file to generate an encrypted divided document file. The information processing apparatus transmits the encrypted divided document file and second print setting information to the printing apparatus via the network.

  • Publication number: 20090116064
Abstract: The present invention relates to an image processing device that can implement printing (both printing of variable pages and non-variable pages) of an entire document and printing of only variable pages in a simplified manner. The device includes a selecting unit, a determining unit, and outputting unit. The selecting unit selects a printing mode. The determining unit determines whether the selected printing mode is an ordinary printing mode or a variable page printing mode. The outputting unit outputs printing data for a variable page and a non-variable page when the selected printing mode is determined to be the ordinary printing mode the determining unit, and outputs printing data for the variable page when the selected printing mode is determined to be the variable page printing mode by the determining unit.

  • Publication number: 20070070412
Abstract: In print processing performed for a print document based on a print instruction that instructs plural processes applied to the print document, a process that uses resource information embedded in the print document is identified among the plural processes instructed by the print instruction. Then, a process for embedding the resource information into the print document is performed before starting the identified process.
