Abstract: An organic hydride production device comprises: a cathode chamber that equips a cathode electrode for hydrogenating a substance to be hydrogenated in a catholyte with a proton to produce an organic hydride; a cathode inlet that is connected to the cathode chamber and supplies an external catholyte into the cathode chamber; an upper cathode outlet that is connected to the cathode chamber and discharges the catholyte and hydrogen gas in the cathode chamber to the outside; and a lower cathode outlet that is connected to the cathode chamber below the upper cathode outlet and discharges the catholyte and water in the cathode chamber to the outside.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing a paraffin wax, the method including a step of mixing an unrefined wax containing normal paraffin with a solvent of dipole term (?p) is 4 to 8 and of hydrogen bonding term (?h) is 3 to 10 of the Hansen Solubility Parameters, and obtaining a mixed liquid; and a step of separating a solid material from the mixed liquid and obtaining a paraffin wax in which the normal paraffin concentration is higher.
