  • Publication number: 20180335982
Abstract: A printing apparatus includes a receiving section configured to receive print jobs, and a display control section configured to cause a display section to display a list of the print jobs received by the receiving section. If date and time the receiving section received a reservation print job that is a print job waiting for a print instruction is earlier than date and time the receiving section receives a print job to which a print instruction has been issued and to be output to a print section, the display control section causes the display section to display the print job to be output at a position in the list higher than the position of the reservation print job waiting for a print instruction.

  • Publication number: 20180217796
Abstract: A print apparatus includes a memory region to be used for a print job and a memory management unit. At start-up, the memory management unit allocates, to the memory region, an external job-dedicated region to be used for an external job and not to be used for a local job, and allocates a common region to the other region of the memory region. The external job-dedicated region is extended by a predetermined size when printing stops, and is reduced to an original size when printing restarts. A use region for the external job is allocated to the common region if the common region has a free space, and is allocated to the external job-dedicated region if the common region has no free space. The local job is not allocated to the external job-dedicated region.

  • Publication number: 20110279853
Abstract: A job processing apparatus includes a reception unit which receives a job, a job management unit which holds the received job and manages a processing order of a plurality of jobs held, a job processing unit which sequentially processes the plurality of jobs in accordance with the processing order, and an acceptance unit which accepts a change request of the processing order for changing to an order in which a first job which is being received is processed to before a predetermined second job among the held jobs. In the job processing apparatus, when the acceptance unit has accepted the change request, the job management unit changes the processing order, and when a turn of the processing by the job processing unit comes to the second job before the processing order is changed in accordance with the change request, the job management unit stops the processing by the job processing unit and changes the processing order.

  • Publication number: 20090207441
Abstract: A job processing apparatus includes a first job-receiving section that receives a panel operation job produced by operating a control panel in a mode, and a second job-receiving section that receives non-panel operation jobs other than the panel operation job. A control panel mode-identifying section is also provided to identify which mode the control panel is in when the second job-receiving section receives any one of the non-panel operation jobs. A non-panel operation job-identifying section identifies which non-panel operation job has been received by the second job-receiving section. An execution timing control section controls when the non-panel operation job received by the non-panel operation job-receiving section is executed, according to the identified non-panel operation job and the identified mode of the control panel.
