    Abstract: A guidance system includes a portable terminal including a first communication device and a first controller configured to control the first communication device to transmit, to a first apparatus, a first signal including information about a current location of the portable terminal and a destination specified by a user. The first apparatus includes a second communication device and a second controller configured to control the second communication device to receive the first signal, determine one of second apparatuses located within a predetermined distance from the current location of the portable terminal and nearest to the destination, and control the second communication device to transmit, to the determined second apparatus, a second signal causing the second apparatus to transmit a beacon signal to the portable terminal. The portable terminal displays guidance information guiding the user toward the determined second apparatus based on the beacon signal.
