  • Publication number: 20100121742
Abstract: If a product to be produced is modified, a computer system for assisting quick specification of a part necessary for the new production and its quantity and placement of the order of the part on condition that parts unrelated to the modification are used as they are. The computer system for managing part order placement based on a production plan realizes a function of developing parts needed for the production of the type of a product and the quantities of parts according to the type, comparing the parts and their quantities for first and second types when production change from the fist type the parts of which are ordered to the second type is inputted, and calculating the difference between the quantities needed for the production of the second type and those of the first type, and a function of displaying the parts needed for the production of the second type and their quantities in association with the difference on a display screen.

  • Patent number: 7379251
Abstract: The generatrix directions of cylindrical lenses 11a and 11b are perpendicular to the optical axis, and are perpendicular to each other. As a result, the optical system combining the cylindrical lenses 11a and 11b can achieve the same optical effect as a spherical lens. This system is characterized by the fact that since the respective lenses are cylindrical lenses, there is no shift in the optical axis even if the lenses are moved in the generatrix direction. For example, in cases where scratches on the lenses have become conspicuous, the useful life of the laser device can be extended by moving the lenses in the generatrix direction (direction indicated by the arrow) by means of a moving mechanism (not shown in the figures), e.g., a stage equipped with a micrometer, and using unused portions of the lenses.

  • Patent number: 6132627
Abstract: Waste water containing nitrogen compounds is treated by first breaking the nitrogen compounds down by electrolysis in the presence of chlorine ions. The electrolysis step converts chlorine ions to hypochlorite ions. The partially treated water is returned to a storage container. The hypochlorite ions oxidize the nitrogen compounds and are reconverted to chlorine atoms. The partially treated water then may be returned to the electrolysis container to regenerate hypochlorite ions. In a second step, the partially treated waste water is passed over a metal peroxide catalyst. The metal peroxide catalyst further breaks down the nitrogen compounds, and removes the excess hypochlorite ions.

  • Patent number: 5534735
Abstract: A photo SI thyristor driving circuit which has a good switching characteristic suitable to be used for a photo relay, and a protection circuit therefor for protecting a photo SI thyristor element from being broken down due to a thermal runaway. The photo SI thyristor driving circuit comprises a photo SI thyristor, a MOS transistor provided in a gate circuit of the photo SI thyristor to draw charges accumulated at the gate of the photo SI thyristor when the photo SI thyristor is turned off, and a plurality of photo electromotive force elements provided in a gate circuit of the MOS transistor to generate a photo current for biasing the MOS transistor. The protection circuit includes a snubber circuit connected between the anode and the cathode of the photo SI thyristor and a light emitting element for irradiating light to the photo electromotive elements in response to an output from the snubber circuit.

  • Patent number: 4869073
Abstract: A heat-pump type refrigeration cycle includes at least a compressor capable of switching between cooling and heating modes. A first memory stores first reference temperature data for the cooling mode, and second reference temperature data for the heating mode. A second memory stores first set data for setting a cooling temperature and second set data for setting a heating temperature. A mode selector compares room temperature detection data with the first and second reference temperature data, in accordance with an automatic operation instruction, and outputs a first signal for selecting the cooling mode or a second signal for selecting the heating mode. A controller sets the heat-pump type refrigeration cycle in the cooling or heating mode, in accordance with the first or second signal, and controls the compressor in a drive state or a stop state, so that a comparison difference between the first or second set data and the room temperature detection data becomes zero.
