  • Publication number: 20060019545
Abstract: A differential transmission connector unit is disclosed that includes a first differential transmission connector including a first electrically insulating block body; and first signal contact pairs and first ground contacts arranged alternately in a row in the first block body; and a second differential transmission connector including a second electrically insulating block body; and second signal contact pairs and second ground contacts arranged alternately in a row in the second block body. The first differential transmission connector is connected to the second differential transmission connector with the first signal contact pairs and the second signal contact pairs being in contact with each other and the first ground contacts and the second ground contacts being in contact with each other. One of the contact surface of each first ground contact and the contact surface of the corresponding second ground contact is a rolled surface, the contact surfaces contacting each other.

  • Publication number: 20050208823
Abstract: A differential transmission cable connector is disclosed that includes a contact assembly and an alignment member. In the contact assembly, signal contact pairs of first and second signal contacts and ground contacts are arranged alternately. The first connection part of each first signal contact, the second connection part of each second signal contact, and the drain wire connection part of each ground contact project from the rear side of the contact assembly. The alignment member aligns first and second signal wires extending from a differential transmission cable so that the first and second signal wires are arranged in positions corresponding to the first and second connection parts, respectively. The alignment member is joined to the contact assembly. The first and second signal wires and the drain wires are connected to the first and second connection parts and the drain wire connection parts, respectively.

  • Patent number: 6923682
Abstract: A balanced transmission cable connector with improved high speed signal transmission characteristics is realized by directly connecting a balanced transmission cable to a plug structure. The plug structure includes a block unit, a ground contact, and adjacent pairs of a first signal contact and a second signal contact. The ground contact and the adjacent pairs of the first signal contact and the second signal contact are aligned in an alignment direction with respect to one another and are held by the block unit. The ground contact is disposed in between the adjacent pairs of the first signal contact and the second signal contact. The first signal contact includes a first signal wire connecting portion to which a first signal wire of the balanced transmission cable is connected, and the second signal contact includes a second signal wire connecting portion to which a second signal wire of the balanced transmission cable is connected.

  • Patent number: 6571982
Abstract: A communication device for an automatic vending machine includes, a main control unit that initializes each unit in accordance with a result of decoding an initialization order from ROM, and transmits first to third control data in the form of telegraphic message through a data input/output line to a plurality of button control units one by one. The plural button control units are set to have or not to have a transmission right to the main control unit in accordance with a latch result of the first to third control data. The transmission right of the terminal control units can be set by the main control unit as the automatic vending machine carries a communication between the main control unit and the terminal control unit by contention type protocol.
