    Abstract: The illuminator constituting an indirect illumination is provided on the driver side of the switch cover of the horn switch provided at the fixed portion. Specifically, the clear acryl plate is provided on the driver side of the switch cover. On the driver side of the acryl plate is provided the mask portion coated with black paint, while on its vehicle-front-side surface is provided the reflecting portion with coated white paint. The LEDs are provided behind the mask portion and inside the acryl plate. The mask portion constitutes the emblem of vehicle makers, and the emblem portion shines when the LEDs are tuned on. Thus, the visible function of the operational portion (switch cover), which is provided at the fixed portion can be improved.

    Abstract: The seatbelt device of a vehicle comprises at least two seatbelt mechanisms including the webbings and the first pre-tensioner mechanisms operative to wind up the webbings so as to apply the specified tension to the webbings when the crash pre-detecting device detects the vehicle crash in advance, and the control device to control the seatbelt mechanism, wherein there is provided the vehicle turning control device which operates to control the braking force of the brake device of the vehicle so that the vehicle turning state can be the target turning state, and the control device operates at least the two first pre-tensioner mechanisms when the vehicle, tuning control device operates. Accordingly, the pre-tensioner mechanisms operate additionally when the DSC operates, thereby increasing restraint force of the passengers and improving the safety of the passengers.

    Abstract: An inflatable airbag, which inflates and comes out from a side portion of a seat back, comprises a head-protection portion and a torso-protection portion which are formed separately. A volume of the head-protection portion for protecting an occupant's head is configured to be greater than that of the torso-protection portion for protecting at least an occupant's chest. A tether connecting the both airbag portions can provide a proper forward inflation of the head-protection portion, suppressing an upward inflation of the head-protection portion. An arrangement of a vent hole or a coating layer can make an inflation sustaining period of the head-protection portion longer than that of the torso-protection portion in the inflated condition.

With this configuration, an elevation of the seats in the third row is set higher than that in the second row as well as an elevation of a mounting position of the anchor is set higher than that of an anchor for a second row seat belt unit, so that a passenger in the center seat is properly protected by the seat belt unit.
