  • Publication number: 20090280957
Abstract: A hydraulic control device of an automatic transmission having a pick up unit of a feedback oil passage that is provided in a line pressure oil passage branched from an oil passage communicating an oil pressure source and a pressure regulating port with each other. An influence of an oil pump on a feedback pressure is thus reduced, and a primary regulator valve regulates an oil pressure to a stable line pressure having a small amount of rising. This structure prevents instability of the feedback pressure due to the influence of the oil pump which is caused in the case where a feedback pressure of a primary regulator valve is directly obtained from an oil passage communicating from an oil pressure source to a pressure regulating port.

  • Publication number: 20090171545
Abstract: An exemplary control device includes an input torque detection unit that detects an input torque input to the input shaft; and a controller that: determines torque distribution of two of the friction engagement elements that form the shift speeds; and calculates a transmission torque of the two friction engagement elements based on the input torque and the torque distribution and sets the engagement pressure to obtain a torque capacity that can transmit the transmission torque, wherein the controller sets the engagement pressure such that slippage does not occur in the two friction engagement elements in a state where engagement of the two friction engagement elements forms the shift speeds and such that, even if an additional friction engagement element engages based on the line pressure while the two friction engagement elements are engaged, one of the three friction engagement elements is caused to slip.

  • Publication number: 20090143181
Abstract: In a condition of a vehicle which remains stationary or is about to stop and of a forward second speed having a clutch and a brake engaged, an N range is changed from a D range based on a shift lever operation and a forward range pressure is discharged from a manual shift valve. At this time, an orifice and a check ball are used to delay discharge of oil paths which communicate with a linear solenoid valve relative to discharge of an oil path a1 which communicates with a linear solenoid valve. Specifically, release of the brake is delayed relative to release of the clutch, so that a shift by way of a forward first speed through engagement of a one-way clutch can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 6056876
Abstract: A method and apparatus for wastewater treatment is provided which can treat persistent surface active agents and coloring substances in wastewater, and which is compact and economical. The wastewater treatment method introduces water to be treated into a charcoal tank 3 packed with charcoal 10 and treats the water therein, the water to be treated having been pretreated in a pretreatment section 2. The water under treatment is introduced from the charcoal tank 3 into an activated carbon tower 6 packed with activated carbon 17 to treat the water therein. Treatment of the water in two stages, namely, treatment by bioactivated charcoal 10 and treatment by bioactivated carbon 17, makes it unnecessary to carry out backwashing of the activated carbon tower 6 and regeneration of activated carbon 17. The service life of the activated carbon can be greatly extended.

  • Patent number: 5793823
Abstract: It is an object to realize a synchronization circuit with small size and low consumption power which enables capturing and phasing of external data without running external clock in parallel. Internal clock (2) is delayed by a delay line (1) to produce delay clocks (3), and one of the delay clocks (3) having its rise almost corresponding to that of an external data signal (6) becomes a select clock (5). An elastic store circuit (7) is a circuit which controls a row of D-latches with a row of C elements. Thus the elastic store circuit (7) captures the external data signal (6) with enough set up hold time at timing of the select clock (5) and then outputs the captured external data as an internal data signal (8) in synchronization with the internal clock (2).

  • Patent number: 5580458
Abstract: An apparatus for waste water treatment, wherein fluorine contained in waste water is treated into a fluoride through a chemical reaction and sludge containing the fluoride is thickened and dehydrated into a sludge cake, has first and second tanks each packed with calcium carbonate mineral. In the first tank, waster water containing fluorine is agitated by air discharged from an air diffuser and caused to react with the calcium carbonate mineral. Through this reaction of the waste water with the calcium carbonate mineral and action of microorganisms on the surface of the calcium carbonate mineral, a pH value and a fluorine concentration of the waste water is adjusted till the pH value and the fluorine concentration fall within their respective predetermined ranges.

  • Patent number: 5423988
Abstract: Developer-containing waste water is subjected to a multi-stage biological treatment. A waste water treatment apparatus for carrying out a two-stage biological treatment has an adjustment tank for receiving raw waste water and for preliminarily adjusting water quality of the waste water. First and second contact aeration tanks are used to biologically treat the waste water. First and second settling tanks are connected to the first and second contact aeration tanks for separating by sedimentation sludge from the waste water. Specifically, the first settling tank is connected to the second contact aeration tank. Sludge separated from the waste water is returned from the first and second settling tanks to first and second mixing tanks, respectively, and mixed with Bacillus Subtilis Kubota (BSK) and excess household sludge. The mixture is aerated and then transferred to the first and second contact aeration tanks, respectively.
