  • Patent number: 7062963
Abstract: A flow velocity measuring device is able to conduct a fluid to a sensor element after removal of dust and dirt contained in the fluid to accurately measure the flow velocity of the fluid even when the fluid is low in flow velocity and the device is mounted in any direction. A flow passage is formed by internal spaces, which have curved wall surfaces, introduction passages connected to the internal spaces at one ends of the wall surfaces tangentially to the wall surfaces, discharge passages connected to the internal spaces at the other ends of the wall surfaces tangentially to the wall surfaces, and branch discharge passages connected to the internal spaces at substantially right angle to a direction, in which the wall surfaces are curved, and a sensor element is arranged in the branch passage or a flow passage connected to the branch passage.

  • Patent number: 6952960
Abstract: A spacer has an annular concave portion, at one end face, to accept a rectifier that rectifies fluid flowing through a flow channel in a flowmeter, a protruding annular convex portion, at the other end face, of a size to fit in the annular concave portion, and fixing means, on an outer surface, for fixing the spacer to a tube of the flow channel through engagement. A rectifier unit is temporarily assembled by integrating the spacer and the rectifier that are provided alternately in series in an axial direction into a tubular unit. It is thus possible to achieve efficient assembly, by which plural rectifiers are inserted and attached inside the tube through a single insertion operation. Moreover, it is possible to address a need for a reduction of rectifiers in size or a change to the specifications regarding the number of rectifiers to be provided.

  • Publication number: 20040017357
Abstract: A circuit substrate 8 mounting a flow sensor 6 thereto is stored into a concave portion 7 formed on the lower face of a mouse case 2. When a mouse 1 is moved, a flow of the air is relatively caused by inertia of the air, etc. The movement of the mouse 1 is detected by detecting the flow velocity of this air by the flow sensor 6.

  • Publication number: 20030221492
Abstract: A pressure sensor assembling structure capable of keeping a homogeneous detection accuracy without any error that might otherwise be caused by a stress at an assembling time, and an assembling method for the assembling structure. This structure is constructed to comprise: a base having a fluid inlet port on one end side and an opening communicating with the fluid inlet port on the other end side; and a sensor element inserted from the opening of the base and fixed in the base such that a connecting face formed on its one side is exposed from the side of the opening.

  • Patent number: 5084598
Abstract: An electric switch for a power tool, comprising: a slider slidably received in a switch casing along a longitudinal direction, a handle provided in the grip of the power tool for manually actuating the slider along the longitudinal direction; a plurality of fixed contact pieces arranged in an internal bottom surface of the switch casing and provided with contact surfaces located substantially in a same plane; and a plurality of moveable contact pieces arranged in the bottom surface of the slider and urged toward the fixed contact pieces by spring members so as to selectively contact at least some of the contact surfaces of the fixed contact pieces. The contact portions of this switch achieve various conductive states by planar arrangement and movement of the contact pieces, the component parts can be fitted into a small switch casing, particularly having a small height.
