  • Patent number: 8817971
Abstract: In a video teleconference device, a microphone and a speaker are arranged in a housing in such a manner that a voice input direction of the microphone and a voice output direction of the speaker are roughly orthogonal to each other. With that, the sound coming out of the speaker is not easily received as input by the microphone. Thus, with such a simple configuration, it becomes possible to effectively curb the echo effect and the howling effect.

  • Patent number: 7961471
Abstract: An information processing apparatus having improved cooling efficiency is disclosed. The information processing apparatus includes a first chassis and a second chassis separated from each other at a prescribed distance, the first chassis accommodating a substrate on which high heat generating parts such as a CPU and a chipset are mounted, and the second chassis accommodating low heat generating and low heat resistance parts. Because of this structure, the first chassis and the second chassis are thermally isolated, and the surface area of the apparatus is increased, thereby improving the cooling efficiency of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7660114
Abstract: A heat dissipating member, a heat dissipating mechanism, and an information processing apparatus capable of improving the cooling efficiency without increasing the size of the apparatus are disclosed. In the information processing apparatus, it becomes possible to effectively transfer heat from a unit such as a memory disposed in an inner space of the apparatus to the outside regardless of the layout position of the unit by using the heat dissipating mechanism fixed to a unit and a heat dissipation surface so that the heat is transferred from the unit to the heat dissipation surface.

  • Patent number: 7578630
Abstract: A control panel of the present invention includes a base and a mount mounted on the base and loaded with a display and devices to be operated by the operator of the apparatus. The base includes a support portion for supporting the mount. The support portion supports the front edge portion of the mount by causing it to slidably contact the front edge portion of the support portion in substantially the front-and-rear direction and supports the rear wall of the mount with its rear wall such that the rear wall of the mount is movable in the up-and-down direction and can be fixed in position in the same direction. The angle of the top of the mount is therefore variable without resorting to extra members for angular movement.
