  • Patent number: 7982141
Abstract: A pen includes a first speaker that outputs a first signal and a second speaker that outputs a second signal. The first and second speakers are located away from a tip of the pen at respectively different locations. The second signal is delayed with respect to the first signal by a time shorter than a cycle of the first signal. An interpolation time is set between the times of generation of the first and second signals. Interpolated positions of the first and second speakers at the interpolation time are estimated, and position of the tip of the pen is calculated from the interpolated positions of the first and second speakers.

  • Publication number: 20070195370
Abstract: A workflow system for performing a process according to information input to an electronic form from an input screen displaying the electronic form, and inputting handwritten information of a corresponding paper form to the electronic form is disclosed. Based on screen formation data used for forming the input screen, paper layout information defining the paper form corresponding to the input screen is generated. The paper form is printed based on the paper layout information together with a form ID identifying the electronic form. An image of the printed paper form to which handwritten information is added is input. The handwritten information and the form ID are extracted from the image of the paper form input, converted to electronic handwritten information, and input to the electronic form corresponding to the extracted form ID.

  • Publication number: 20050221767
Abstract: A high frequency module comprises a high frequency switch and a coupler. The high frequency switch selectively allows a transmission signal terminal or a reception signal terminal to be connected to an antenna terminal. The coupler is provided between the transmission signal terminal and the high frequency switch and detects transmission signals. The coupler incorporates a main line and a subline electromagnetically coupled. The subline has a width smaller than the width of the main line. Where the coupling C of the coupler is ?X dB and the directivity D of the coupler is ?Y dB, X is within a range of 10 to 21 inclusive and Y is 21 or greater.

  • Patent number: 6418102
Abstract: An optical disk recording apparatus comprising a memory, a laser recording unit, a first motor, a second motor, an asymmetry information detect mechanism, and a controller is disclosed. The memory stores an initial recording laser power and a reference asymmetry of a playback signal. The laser recording unit emits laser light according to a recording laser power and records data using the laser light on an optical disk rotated by the first motor. The second motor moves the laser recording unit along the surface of the recordable optical disk. The asymmetry information detect mechanism detects asymmetry information of a playback signal from data recorded.
