  • Patent number: 9085216
Abstract: In a control system mounted in a vehicle, information indicative of a user's desire depending on the signal from at least one of a sensor and user's input device is outputted. A target value of a first state quantity for travel of the vehicle is outputted. The target value is for realizing control of in-vehicle environment in accordance with the user's desire. A command value for controlling an actuator is outputted, where the command value is for realizing the target value. The actuator is controlled based on the command value. A controllable range for the first state quantity is specified depending on a capability of the actuator, and the specified controllable range is outputted for outputting the target value. The target value is calculated such that the target value falls into the controllable range.

  • Publication number: 20090030579
Abstract: When a reservation signal is received from a portable device, an ECU of a vehicle-side controller detects whether a user is present near a door. When it is detected that the user is present near the door, the ECU of the vehicle-side controller transmits a door unlock command signal and a door opening command signal to the door drive control section for unlocking the lock mechanism of the door. The door drive control section drives a motor of the lock mechanism to unlock the door and also open the door the door unlock command signal and the door opening command signal have been received.

  • Publication number: 20090025412
Abstract: A system for adjusting or improving conditions in a passenger compartment of an automotive vehicle includes a remote controller and an on-board system mounted on an automotive vehicle. The on-board system includes a communication device, a window-view detector, an air-condition detector and a battery capacity detector. A command to adjust or improve the conditions in the passenger compartment to desired conditions is wirelessly transmitted from the remote controller to the on-board communication device. Upon receipt of the command, a residual capacity of an on-board battery and the conditions in the passenger compartment are detected by the on-board detectors. If the residual capacity of the on-board battery is sufficiently high, a full control is performed for adjusting the conditions, while a limited control is performed if the residual battery capacity is low.

  • Publication number: 20080312797
Abstract: An ECU in a third seat equipped vehicle receives a reservation signal from a portable device, and answers back to the portable device with a vehicle condition signal that indicates that the second row and the third row of seats are automatically movable. When a door of the vehicle is unlocked, the ECU outputs a drive signal that indicates opening of a power slide door and the ECU also outputs a voice for warning the opening of the power slide door. When the second row and the third row of seats are movable, the ECU moves the second row of seats for allowing the user to have an access to the third row of seats, and also puts the third row of seats in a suitable condition for sitting by the user.

  • Publication number: 20080158360
Abstract: A vision assist apparatus for assisting a vision of a driver in a vehicle having a headlight includes a night vision camera, a display device, detecting unit, a lighting controlling unit, and a display controlling unit. The night vision camera is configured to capture an image around the vehicle. The display device is configured to display the image captured by the night vision camera. The detecting unit is configured to detect an object that exists in front of the vehicle. The lighting controlling unit controls that the headlight the vehicle. The lighting controlling unit operates the headlight in a high beam mode when the detecting unit does not detect the object while the headlight is on. The display controlling unit causes the display device to display the image captured by the night vision camera when the object exists in front of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20080147270
Abstract: A vehicle interior environment control system includes a plurality of environment adjustment sections adapted to operate in cooperation with each other so as to control optimization of an environment of a vehicle interior, a grading parameter setting section for setting a grading parameter indicative of a capacity grade of each of the environment adjustment sections in one-to-one relation to the environment adjustment sections, an environmental luxury degree setting section for adjustably setting an environmental luxury degree desired by a user for a total environmental adjustment state of the vehicle interior, and an integrated control section. The integrated control section controls the cooperation between the environment adjustment sections, such that as the environmental luxury degree set by the environmental luxury degree setting section becomes higher, the environment adjustment section with the higher capacity grade indicated by the grading parameter is preferentially operated.
