  • Patent number: 7647127
Abstract: As preset component data to perform processing on components for signal processing in a mixer engine, data for PC and data for transfer to be transferred to the mixer engine to cause the engine to perform signal processing are stored on the PC side, and data for engine is stored on the mixer engine side. When being directed to upgrade the preset component data on the mixer engine side, the PC compares the ID of each component included in the data for PC stored in the PC with the ID of each component included in the data for engine stored in the mixer engine, and, when detecting an ID existing only in the former, transfers the aforementioned data for transfer on the component corresponding to the ID to the mixer engine and causes the engine to store the data as the data for engine.

  • Publication number: 20090310800
Abstract: A digital mixer has a custom component specified by a configuration ID. Further, the same configuration ID is provided to another custom component for ensuring compatibility of scene data which is used for operating the custom component. When a custom component of the mixer configuration is edited, the edited custom component is provided with the same configuration ID as the initial custom component before the editing. Scene data of the initial custom component can be copied to scene data of the edited custom component or vice versa provided that their configuration IDs match with each other.

  • Patent number: 7617012
Abstract: In a mixer system including: a plurality of mixer engines each provided with a programmable DSP; and a PC controlling operations of the respective mixer engines, the PC stores, as zone data, a plurality of configuration data each indicating a configuration of signal processing to be executed by one mixer engine or more out of the mixer engines under the control of the PC, accepts the selection of the zone data, and when the necessary mixer engines are in a controllable state, transfers data on a part of the aforesaid configuration which is to be assigned to each of the mixer engines, to the corresponding mixer engines. Then, when the selection of the configuration is accepted, each of the mixer engines to which the configuration is transferred is caused to execute the audio signal processing according to the selected configuration.

  • Patent number: 7206651
Abstract: A mixer engine control program is executable by a computer for performing a method of displaying and editing a mixer configuration which specifies a mixing process of a signal processing apparatus. Logging on is made to the mixer engine control program with a user authority. Mixer configuration is read from a storage. The read mixer configuration is displayed and edited within a scope permitted by the user authority with which the mixer engine control program has been logged on. The edited mixer configuration is written back to the storage. The storage may store a protected mixer configuration created and supplied by a vendor, such that the mixer configuration created by the vendor is protected with a vendor authority higher than the user authority with which the user is able to log on the mixer engine control program.

  • Publication number: 20050192688
Abstract: A digital mixer has a processor capable of executing a program to constitute an audio signal processing unit corresponding to various mixer configurations. Configuration ID is attached to each mixer configuration, and the same configuration ID is attached to the mixer configurations having compatibility between their scene data which is a data set of parameters for use in operation of the audio signal processing unit. When a mixer configuration is edited, the same configuration ID as that of the mixer configuration before editing is attached to the mixer configuration after editing. Under the condition that there is a match between the configuration ID of read source and the configuration ID of write destination, the scene data accompanying each mixer configuration is written from the mixer configuration of read source to the mixer configuration of write destination.

  • Patent number: 4802164
Abstract: A testing method and apparatus for a multi-processor system including a plurality of processors and a plurality of peripheral devices such as input/output (I/O) devices are disclosed. The processors can parallely access specified I/O devices. The apparatus comprises a plurality of I/O control tables each coupled to each of the I/O devices, and storing status information of the (I/O) device, and a scheduler for controlling accessing between the plurality of processors and the plurality of I/O devices. A lock control flag indicating whether each of the I/O devices is locked by one of the processors or not, is set in the respective I/O control table. The scheduler arbitrarily selects a processor which is accessible to an unaccessed I/O device on the basis of the state of the lock control flag of the I/O control table, each time of starting of the I/O device. Then, each time of starting of the I/O device.
