  • Publication number: 20080250967
Abstract: A dye discharging ink for inkjet printing including at least a reducing agent and an amine compound. Embodiments of the dye discharging ink include, as the reducing agent, a sulphur reducing agent such as Rongalite, and, as the amine compound, an alcohol amine compound such as triethanolamine. Embodiments of the dye discharging ink also include a surface active surfactant and/or an antirust agent, and a pH in a range from 9.5 to 11.0. The dye discharging ink for inkjet printing can prevent corrosion of head nozzles due to acidic substances produced by decomposition of a reducing agent, so as to decrease inhibition of linear advancing property of ejected ink, and can prevent decrease in discharging capability due to hydrolysis of the reducing agent.
