Patent number: 10053566Abstract: A pelletized resin composition according to the present invention contains an ethylene-vinyl alcohol resin (A), a polyamide (B), and a lower fatty acid magnesium salt (C) each in a specific amount, wherein the polyamide resin (B) is dispersed in the ethylene-vinyl alcohol resin (A) with an average dispersed particle diameter of 1 ?m or less as determined using an electron microscope, and the lower fatty acid magnesium salt (C) is dispersed in both the ethylene-vinyl alcohol resin (A) and the polyamide resin (B). Accordingly, a pelletized resin composition that is superior in hue can be obtained. In addition, a film that is superior in thermal stability in the film formation, the appearance immediately after the film formation, and the appearance after the heating treatment is obtained.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 2015Date of Patent: August 21, 2018Assignee: KURARAY CO., LTD.Inventors: Satoshi Yamakoshi, Naoki Kawakami

Patent number: 9744748Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a multilayered structure having very superior gas barrier properties and being excellent in flex resistance, pinhole resistance, stretchability, thermoformability and interlayer adhesiveness, and having superior durability enabling characteristics such as high gas barrier properties to be maintained even if used with deformation such as flexion and/or stretching, and to provide a laminate in which the multilayered structure is used, and a production method thereof. Provided by the present invention is a multilayered structure in which at least 4 resin-layers constituted with a resin composition containing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer are contiguously laminated. A single layer of the resin layer has an average thickness of preferably no less than 0.01 ?m and no greater than 10 ?m. The average thickness is preferably no less than 0.1 ?m and no greater than 1,000 ?m.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2011Date of Patent: August 29, 2017Assignee: KURARAY CO., LTD.Inventors: Shinji Tai, Hiroshi Kawai, Satoshi Yamakoshi, Kouta Isoyama, Masao Hikasa

Publication number: 20150004395Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a vapor-deposited film that enables the formation of a pinhole and/or a crack due to flexure thereof in a processing of the vapor-deposited film such as lamination to be suppressed, and the deterioration of the gas barrier property thereof to be inhibited. The present invention relates to a vapor-deposited film including a substrate film that contains a polyvinyl alcohol polymer, and a metal vapor-deposited layer provided on the substrate film, a mean particle size in the metal vapor-deposited layer as determined using an electron microscope being 150 nm or less. The average thickness of the metal vapor-deposited layer is preferably 30 nm or more and 100 nm or less.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 20, 2013Publication date: January 1, 2015Applicant: KURARAY CO., LTD.Inventors: Yasuhiro Nonaka, Hiroshi Kawai, Satoshi Yamakoshi
