  • Patent number: 8171610
Abstract: In a recycling system of the present invention for collecting a subject of recycling, which contains plastics, from the market and reprocessing the plastics to thereby produce a recycled product, the plastics contains a line spectrum radiation that radiates light when receiving ultraviolet rays or an electromagnetic wave. Recycle information particular to the subject of recycling is identified on the basis of the wavelengths of light radiated from the line spectrum radiation.

  • Patent number: 7010248
Abstract: A toner recycling method and a toner recycling system use two personal computers and a display. A personal computer carries out management of information of toner, which is collected at a toner collection site. Another personal computer generates recycling information, which includes information about toner requirement of a granule manufacturer. A display at the toner collection site displays recycling information. Collected toner is used for manufacturing flux by mixing with aluminum dross, aluminum ash, aluminum dregs etc.

  • Publication number: 20060000309
Abstract: A supply recycling system for recycling supply goods used in an office-automation equipment includes a toner refilling process including removing waste toner from a toner bottle retrieved from a market, and filling the toner bottle with new toner; and a steelmaking-dust molding process including blending the waste toner removed at the toner refilling process with steelmaking dust, and molding the steelmaking dust blended with the waste toner.

  • Patent number: 6842596
Abstract: Information about a recycling item is input, a first sorting condition is prepared so as to sort the recycling item into one of a plurality of groups corresponding to conditions for decomposing the recycling item, a second sorting condition is prepared so as to sort recycling parts, which are obtained by decomposing the recycling item sorted out according to the first sorting condition, into at least one of a plurality of material groups corresponding to material of each of the recycling parts; a third sorting condition is prepared so as to sort the recycling parts sorted out according to the second sorting condition, into at least one of a plurality of processing groups corresponding to types of recycling processing to be carried out. Finally, the first, second, and the third sorting conditions are transmitted to respective fields where the recycling item and the recycling parts are sorted.

  • Publication number: 20040250398
Abstract: A recycling system in which a toner used for images on paper sheets is recycled while the conventional recycling by producing recycled paper is performed, and which can thereby contribute to environmental protection more effectively. The recycling system has a developer removal section which has an information processing and communication functions, and which removes a developer attached to paper sheets used on the market, and accommodates the removed developer, and a developer processing section which has an information processing and communication functions, and which performs recycling processing on the developer accommodated in the developer removal section. The developer removal section makes a determination as to the need for recycling processing on the developer on the basis of the amount of accommodated developer, and transmits recycling processing request information to the developer processing section when determining that there is a need for recycling.

  • Publication number: 20030236345
Abstract: Conventional binders require water for granulation, are poor in shape retention, generate a large amount of smoke when used in granulated moldings, thus deteriorating the working atmosphere, and causes excessive heating of granulated moldings, and therefore there are many disadvantages to limit their use. The binder of the invention is compounded with a resin having a softening point suitable as a binder resin for toners, preferably 100° C. or less, for example polyol resin, styrene-acrylic copolymer or polyester resin. As the binder, waste toners can be utilized. The binder does not require addition of water and is excellent in water resistance, and is thus effective for production of steel-making flux particularly from aluminum residues such as alumidoloss and aluminum ash.
