  • Publication number: 20230392954
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for assisting operation of a vehicle by intelligently prioritizing messages relevant to a route for the vehicle. One method involves analyzing textual content of the message to automatically identify values for a plurality of fields of information specified by the message and obtaining current values for one or more of those fields from one or more data sources associated with the vehicle. In response to identifying a difference between a specified value and the corresponding current value for a field of information, the method automatically assigns a priority level to the message based at least in part on the difference and provides graphical indicia of the priority level assigned to the message and the specified value for the field.

  • Publication number: 20230021088
Abstract: Systems and methods providing an actionable cockpit in an aircraft. The actionable cockpit is a flight control system/method that includes a human machine interface (HMI) in the cockpit of the aircraft. The actionable cockpit is configured to effectively convert one or more non-interactive charts/pages and non-interactive windows and webpages displayed by pilots into interactive versions of themselves, and, to respond to pilot selections on the interactive versions by transferring selected information seamlessly between the multiple sources/applications. Additionally, embodiments of the actionable cockpit can map the pilot selections to an intended concept or target avionic system, suggest possible follow up actions related to the concept, and automatically begin an action when it is selected.

  • Publication number: 20210035028
Abstract: Techniques are provided for managing airport slot reservations using a shared database network. A computing device receives information of one or more open airport slots. The availability of the open airport slots is validated through the shared database network and is stored in a shared ledger of the shared database network. The open airport slots are published to one or more carriers to initiate electronic transactions of the open airport slots. The computing device receives one or more bid transactions from the air carriers for the open airport slots. Each bid transaction has associated bid information. The bid transactions are validated using predefined validation rules, and they are allotted to corresponding open airport slots based on the predefined validation rules and the bid information. The bid transactions allocated to the corresponding open airport slots are published to the shared ledger.
