The method further comprises generating a customer household graph, wherein the customer household graph comprises a customer household node associated with the customer, a product superset node, and one or more product nodes associated with the product superset node. Further, at least one product metadata node associated with each of the one or more product nodes is determined. Further, at least one user node is associated with the customer household node based on the at least one product metadata node. Further, a user group node associated with the customer household node is determined based on the at least one user node. Further, one or more recommendations to be provided to the user are ascertained.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to information life cycle management, and more particularly to system and method for providing autonomous contextual information life cycle management. In order to visualize the data, initially, textual interaction may be captured from a social-networking platform. Upon capturing, business entities may be identified from the textual interaction. Subsequently, a system entity corresponding to each business entity may be identified. Subsequently, a key-value pair having a pre-defined condition corresponding to each system entity may be generated. Further a query may be generated based on the key-value pair. Upon generating the query, a context may be derived associated to the textual interaction. Based on the context and the query, data may be extracted from a data repository. Subsequent to the extraction of the data, the data may be visualized in a graphical form using one or more predefined visualization templates.

Abstract: Systems and methods for event management are described. In one embodiment of the present subject matter, an audio beacon indicative of a location code associated with a location is received from a user device by an event management system. The event management system may then identify the location and an event associated with the location, based on a current time and an event schedule. Event content related to the identified event may then be provided to the user device in real time. In another embodiment, visual tag data pertaining to color coded tags embedded in one or more objects in the location of the event may be received and information content related to the object may be provided to the user device, based on the event schedule.

Abstract: Systems and methods for securing data by a user input based data encryption are described. In one aspect of the invention, the method may include receiving an authentication string from a user to authenticate access to the application. On successful authentication of the user, the data to be secured is obtained from the user. The obtained data is then secured by encryption, which results in generation of a private key. The private key is then associated with the authentication string to form a first secure key. The first secure key is stored with the encrypted data in a data file. The data file is then transferred to a server associated with the application. The data file in the server is further encrypted to generate a second secure key.

Abstract: This invention relates in general to search and more specifically to two-stage search, where first an incremental character-based search for the keywords and sub keyphrases that together form the target keyphrase to be searched for is performed in order to construct the target keyphrase and then a search for the target keyphrase so constructed is performed among the documents to be searched. The system in this invention is comprised of a user device system from the which the user performs the search, a search server system which performs the search for keywords and sub keyphrases that together form the target keyphrase using text entered by the user and performs the search for documents using the target keyphrase constructed by the user, and an advertisement server system that performs the search for advertisements corresponding to the target keyphrase.

A user-interface method of selecting and presenting content items in which the presentation is ordered at least in part based on inferring which user of a collection of users is using an input device includes providing a set of content items, providing a set of preference information for each user indicating content item preferences of a corresponding user, and providing a set of user keypress biometric models representing expected keypress activity for the corresponding user. User keypress activity to identify desired content items is monitored to biometrically characterize the user and analyzed to find the closest match to one of the keypress biometric models. Based on the closest match, which user of the collection of users entered the input is inferred and the corresponding preference information is used to select, order, and present content items.

Abstract: This invention relates in general to mobile commerce, and more specifically to a system and method that uses a combination of SMS messages and voice channel communication to convey user account authentication and/or user account details. By using this invention, sending authentication information of the user over SMS is avoided. The user interacts with the commerce server system by exchanging SMS messages to identify the product he wants to buy and to issue the request to buy the product. To obtain the authentication information from the user, the commerce server system either initiates a voice call to the user or asks the user to call the system. Once the voice call is established, authentication information is obtained over the voice call by the user entering the information on the mobile's keypad and the commerce server system detecting the entered information and completing the commerce transaction if the authentication information is accurate.

The user-interface system has presentation logic for displaying an image of a virtual user alphanumeric interface on a presentation device. The virtual user alphanumeric interface includes an image of an overloaded keypad that has a two dimensional configuration of alphanumeric clusters. Each cluster corresponds to a set of alphanumeric characters. The user-interface system also has cluster selection logic for receiving user actions from an input device (e.g., five-button interface) to provide visual cues to help the user select an alphanumeric cluster and to cause the selected alphanumeric cluster or character from a cluster to be displayed in a display field of the virtual user alphanumeric interface.

Abstract: This invention relates in general to mobile phone-based connected shopping aids, and more specifically to a system and method that uses photo images of items needed by the user to construct the user's shopping list stored in the network. The user provides images of the items to be added to her shopping list by taking pictures of such items using a user device or by specifying them from a web site. Such images are uploaded to a shopping list server system in the network where image recognition techniques are used to identify the items. Coupons and promotions relevant to the items in the user's shopping list are also identified by the shopping list server system by analyzing the image items in the shopping list. Such promotions and coupons are presented to the user along with the images of the shopping list item. Routing of the user within the store is performed by analyzing the images in the shopping list, so as to minimize the distance to be traveled by the user within the store.

Abstract: This invention relates in general to microblogging services and more specifically to a system and method for providing relevant, contextual advertisements to users of such microblogging services. The system in this invention comprises of a user-device, a microblog server, and an advertisement server. Contextual cues that show the preferences and needs of the user are derived based on his own microblogs, the microblogs of other users who are following the user's microblogs and the microblogs of users whose microblogs the user is following. The ‘following’ and ‘followed by’ relationships in the microblogging system are also analyzed to extract the interests of the user at the current time. The trends and topics that are most popular among the microblogs in the whole microblogging system or those that are most popular in the specific geographical area where the user is located are also used to select the advertisements.
