  • Publication number: 20240142197
Abstract: A customizable holster locking and quick release mechanism includes a holster body with interchangeable insert assemblies, interchangeable and optional spacers and shims, and adjustable and repositionable locking teeth for holding the trigger guard of multiple handgun models. The insert assembly attaches to the holster body and has an insert body with integral upper and lower body sections that support a slide lock rail having upper and lower rail sections. When assembled, the insert body and a side spacer create a receiving slot for a handgun trigger guard. The rail, guided by an angled track in the insert body, moves the locking teeth horizontally into and through the receiving slot as it displaces vertically in response to receiving a trigger guard. Magnets bias the rail depending on the presence of a handgun, encouraging the rail to lock the handgun in a lower position or release the handgun in an upper position.

  • Patent number: 11497279
Abstract: An outer belt for use with inner-outer belt systems includes a series of multiple belt links pivotally attached with roll pins. Each link supports hook or loop fasteners along the inner surface of the belt link and includes extensions having channels disposed therethrough to accept a roll pin when interlocked with extensions on an adjacent link. Serially connecting several belt links forms a belt, and opposite ends of the serially connected belt links attach to a catch link and an expandable buckle assembly. The expandable buckle assembly includes a face plate supporting two translatable connectors held biased together with a resilient member and cooperates with the catch link when the outer belt is worn by a shooter around his waist. Additionally, when a shooter is wearing an inner belt of an inner-outer belt system, the hook or loop fasteners secure the outer belt to the inner belt.

  • Patent number: 11204214
Abstract: A practice magazine includes a housing that at least partially houses one or more weights, a rotating or pivoting follower, and a spring for biasing the follower in a first direction that is toward the slide of a firearm when the practice magazine is positioned in the magazine compartment of the firearm. The housing also includes a magazine catch notch and additional features to cooperate with the firearm magazine compartment's geometry. The follower attaches to the housing at a pivot support around which it can rotate, and the housing and follower include a stopper arrangement that limits excessive rotation of the follower. The spring, disposed between the follower and housing, produces tension when the practice magazine is fully inserted into the magazine compartment of the firearm. The weights are disposed in the housing to mimic the weight of loaded ammunition.

  • Patent number: 10718599
Abstract: A primer collator useful with primer tubes includes a funnel, sorting assembly, output ramp assembly, and counting assembly. The funnel rotates and directs primers to a sorting assembly, which defines slots formed by a priming disc and timing disc that cooperate and rotate within a disc housing. In each slot, a lower ramp and ridge section and upper tooth section are configured to interact with primers to stop improperly oriented primers. Properly oriented primers travel through the slots to an outer groove formed by the disc housing to be transported to the output ramp. The counting assembly counts primers as they travel on the output ramp and powers off the collator after a preset number of primers are counted. Additional features include a magnetic tube attachment assembly and a timing assembly that meters the dispensing of primers into the tube while also stabilizing them to prevent errors.
