    Abstract: A liquid-bearing tonearm device is configured to read a record on a turntable and comprises a base seat, a liquid tank and a cartridge assembly. The liquid tank is mounted at the base seat, disposed over the turntable, elongated along a linear direction, and has a containing chamber containing working liquid. The cartridge assembly floats on the liquid tank through a floating piece and has a stylus portion and a counterweight portion. The liquid-bearing tonearm device is used with the turntable to play music. A cartridge is assembled to the stylus portion and contacts grooves of the record to read vibrations and signals. When the turntable spins the record, the cartridge assembly floats in the liquid tank and is moved along the linear direction with the cartridge pulled inwardly by the record. So, a contacting angle between the cartridge and the grooves remains parallel, thereby enhancing reading quality.

    Abstract: A tower fan has a shell, and the shell has a bottom plate, an outlet structure disposed on the bottom plate, and a top plate disposed on the outlet structure. The outlet structure has a shell plate module, an inlet module, and a guiding column each made by aluminum extrusion. The inlet module is detachably mounted on the bottom plate, and the top plate is configured to engage with the inlet module. The outlet structure is modular and is made by aluminum extrusion, which not only improves efficiency and convenience of detaching the shell but also decreases difficulties and costs of manufacturing the shell. The shell of the tower fan can further have multiple outlet structures disposed in mirror symmetry and multiple fan modules each corresponding to a respective outlet structure. Tower fans with double or more air volume can be provided without making extra molds.

    Abstract: A silicon-controlled rectifier with a heat-dissipating structure has a heat sink, a silicon-controlled rectifying assembly, an outer contact assembly, a gate-contact assembly and a clamp. The heat sink is electrically and thermally conductive and has an inner contact surface and multiple fastener holes being formed in the flat surface around the inner contact surface. The silicon-controlled rectifying assembly is mounted on the inner contact surface and has a silicon-controlled rectifying device having a gate. The outer contact assembly is mounted on the silicon-controlled rectifying device. The gate-contact assembly is mounted against the gate of the silicon-controlled rectifying device. The clamp is mounted on the outer contact assembly and screwed to the fastener holes around the inner contact surface of the heat sink, connects to the heat sink and holds the outer contact assembly and the silicon-controlled rectifying assembly.

    Abstract: A power regulator with a bypass and splice capacity includes at least one phase member and a driver. Each one of the at least one phase member includes two cooling fins, two SCR thyristors, a conductive resilient tab and a conductive rigid tab. The cooling fins are conductive and adjacent to each other. The SCR thyristors are mounted on the cooling fins and are inversely connected in parallel to each cooling fin. The conductive resilient tab is mounted on one of the cooling fins and has a moveable contact. The conductive rigid tab is mounted on the other cooling fin and has a stationary contact aligned with the movable contact. When the driver is energized, the driver drives the conductive resilient tab and the moveable contact is contacts the stationary contact and power is bypassed and spliced through the cooling fins.

When the motor is activated or turned off, the SCR makes the voltage change smoothly. When the motor is in normal operation, the first contact of the reed is connected to the second contact, so the current will steer clear of the SCR and pass the cooling fin. The cooling fins perform as a relay during the operation period, and the overheating problem of the SCR is eliminated.
