The lncRNA is one or more of HOTAIR, H19, WISPER, ZFAS1, HULC, ANRIL, MALAT1, MIAT, and MEG3. Also methods of treating chronic diabetic complications and other conditions comprising administering a HOTAIR inhibitor.
