Abstract: A vibration isolator comprises: a first member in which an end portion of a shaft portion being fixed to a mating member; a vibration-isolation base made of an elastic body connecting a second member and the first member; and a stopper made of an elastic body arranged between the second member and the mating member with the first surface. The shaft portion is arranged in the hole of the stopper with the end portion facing the matching member. The inner surface of the hole of the stopper, prior to the shaft portion is inserted into the hole, includes: a first portion having a span smaller than the thickness of the end portion of the shaft portion; and a second portion arranged between the first portion and the second surface. A span of the second portion is greater than the span of the first portion.
