  • Patent number: 11945177
Abstract: A first laminated body is worked to form a second laminated body, the first laminated body being formed by laminating prepregs including reinforcing fibers and resin, the second laminated body including a flat portion and a wavy portion, the flat portion being located at at least one of side edge portions of the second laminated body, the wavy portion being located at a portion adjacent to the side edge portion and extending along a longitudinal direction. An intermediate product is formed from the second laminated body by a forming die such that the flat portion becomes a bent portion that is an inside portion whose circumferential length is shorter in a curved portion, and the wavy portion becomes a bent portion that is an outside portion whose circumferential length is longer in the curved portion.

  • Patent number: 11198194
Abstract: A welding apparatus that welds a third conductor to a first conductor includes a clamp and a laser irradiation apparatus, the third conductor being adjacent to the first conductor between the first conductor and a second conductor extending in parallel to each other. The clamp is configured to sandwich the first conductor and the third conductor between a first gripper and a second gripper. The laser irradiation apparatus is configured to emit a welding laser towards the third conductor. The first gripper includes a confronting portion facing a contact surface that comes into contact with the first conductor. In a state where the clamp sandwiches the first conductor and the third conductor, the confronting portion and the second gripper are positioned so as to block a reflection laser of the welding laser reflected in a given range of the third conductor.

  • Patent number: 10769532
Abstract: A rating prediction engine builds and applies models to predict ratings based on an analysis of textual reviews and comments. The engine can build multiple models simultaneously through distributed parallel model building that employs deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs). The engine can also incorporate user moment feature data, including user status and context information, to provide better performance and more accurate predictions. The engine can also employ heuristic unsupervised pre-training and/or adaptive over-fitting reduction for model building. In some instances, the techniques described herein can be used in a service to predict personalized ratings for reviews or other published items, in instances where the original author of the item did not include a rating and/or in instances where the publication channel does not provide a mechanism to enter ratings.
