Abstract: Systems and method described herein include a member assessment and improvement system configured to receive data relating to personal activity of one or more members of an organization; to assess performance of the personal activity of the one or more members based at least in part on the data relating to the personal activity; to generate game-related data based at least in part on the performance of the personal activity of the one or more members; and to transmit one or more command signals to one or more game applications being executed by one or more electronic devices associated with the one or more members to display the game-related data via the one or more game applications.

Abstract: A system and method for identifying the sources of leaking water in a home or other facility. In particular, the embodiments provide devices that can dye water in a plumbing system to provide a visual indicator of water that has leaked from a pipe. These include manifold assemblies with integrated injection devices, as well as stand-alone injection devices that can be coupled to individual pipes and/or pipe connectors.

Abstract: Methods and systems for detecting and responding to impaired drivers are disclosed. The methods intelligently alert and route a user driver's vehicle to improve driving safety based on a predicted path of an impaired driver. The method shares data collected by vehicles in an area to determine which that a vehicle has an impaired driver. The method associates cones of certainty with such a vehicle to establish where the vehicle is likely to travel in the future. If the system determines there is a likelihood of accident based on a proximity to these cones of certainty, an alert can be presented to a user driver of a proximate vehicle. The method also generates routes that avoid or limit the user driver's exposure to the impaired driver's vehicle, such as by suggesting detours or automatically controlling the user driver's vehicle to avoid the path of the impaired driver.

Abstract: A system and method for modifying one or more vehicle control systems in a target vehicle prior to a collision with an approaching vehicle are disclosed. The system and method include detecting that a collision is imminent and controlling one or more vehicle control systems automatically to change the impact duration and/or location, depending on the type of collision detected.

Abstract: A system and method provide a two-way pager system. Members use pager systems to communicate in situations where they lack power or access to other modes of communication. For example, the pagers have a switching system that allows users to broadcast information about their current situation in an emergency. For example, the system could use switches that could be set to three different settings. Separate switches could be used for different categories of resources required in an emergency, and the switches could take on settings that represent resource requirements and availability. A centralized system listens for pages from users' pagers that transmit the switch settings for the categories. The centralized system then determines which users lack certain resources, which users have sufficient resources, and which users need certain resources. The system then transmits information through the pager network to inform users where to find resources that they are lacking.

Abstract: A communication device is disclosed. Specifically, the communication device may be a telephone service powered hotspot that plugs into a telephone jack of a Public Switched Telephone Network. The telephone plug of the hotspot provides power and a telephone connection for the hotspot. The hotspot may include a modem that can use the telephone connection to connect the hotspot to an Internet Service Provider. By using such a connection, the modem can provide dial-up internet connectivity for the hotspot. The hotspot can use the power supply to provide a wired or wireless power source for nearby devices after a disaster disables usual power sources. The hotspot can use the internet access from the modem to provide wired or wireless internet access for the nearby devices. However, because dial-up connectivity can have a very limited bandwidth, the hotspot may throttle applications when the bandwidth requires such throttling.

Abstract: A system and method for using wearable device data and data gathered from a vehicle's onboard sensors to provide a more accurate and/or robust set of information about an accident. In one embodiment, a smartwatch is connected to the CAN bus of a vehicle so that data can be transmitted between the watch and onboard sensors. In one embodiment, onboard vehicle sensors may detect a sudden deceleration indicating that an accident may have occurred. At the same time, data from an occupant of the vehicle can be used to confirm if the occupant experienced a sudden deceleration at the same time, indicating that a crash has occurred.

Abstract: A warming device is disclosed. The warming device includes an interior void that is sized to accommodate an exterior plumbing fixture, like an outside faucet. The warming device includes a heating member that is automatically activated in response to a change in temperature. When activated, the heating member generates heat to help protect the exterior plumbing fixture from the elements.

Abstract: A method may include receiving, by a software application that may execute on a mobile device associated with an individual operating a vehicle, operational data associated with operation of the vehicle. The method may also include predicting, by the software application, one or more activities that the individual is expected to perform with respect to operation of the vehicle based at least in part on the operational data, and providing, by the software application via the mobile device, an indication of a recommendation to perform the one or more activities.

Abstract: A power supplying device that can be used during emergencies is disclosed. The device comprises multiple adjustable battery compartments that can be connected, via switches, to deliver power to an external device connected to at least one power delivery port of the power supplying device. Each adjustable battery compartment includes a fixed lead and a sliding lead so that the multiple different battery sizes can be inserted into the compartment and connected to the device. The device includes an intelligent power management system that can automatically detect power requirements for the external device as well as the maximum available voltage from any batteries inserted into the adjustable battery compartments. Using this information the intelligent power management system can open switches to provide the required voltage from a selected subset of batteries in the device, while leaving the remaining batteries disconnected.

Abstract: A package in which an onboard computing system and a plurality of sensor devices are embedded. The package includes a plurality of cameras that are positioned against sidewalls of the package in order to capture image data of the external environment. When the computing system determines the package has arrived at a predesignated set of coordinates corresponding to a target property for which an appraisal is to be performed, the cameras are activated and begin collecting image data. The image data is transmitted to a remote server which will store the image data for review by insurance personnel.

Abstract: A method may include receiving, by a monitoring system from a software application configured to execute on a mobile device, a performance rating associated with an activity performed by an individual with respect to usage of a vehicle operated by the individual, determining, by the monitoring system, one or more rewards to allocate to the individual for use in a gaming platform, and updating, by the monitoring system, a user profile associated with the individual in the gaming platform, wherein the updated user profile is configured to access to the rewards.

Abstract: A power supplying device that can be used during emergencies is disclosed. The device comprises multiple adjustable battery compartments that can be connected, via switches, to deliver power to an external device connected to at least one power delivery port of the power supplying device. Each adjustable battery compartment includes a fixed lead and a sliding lead so that the multiple different battery sizes can be inserted into the compartment and connected to the device. An external battery connection device or harness can also be used with the power supplying device. The external battery connection device can be used to connect various different kinds of batteries with the power supplying device, such as cordless power tool batteries, cordless appliance batteries, and batteries for radio controlled (RC) devices.
