  • Patent number: 11927599
Abstract: Included are: a main body including an installation part in which a cartridge housing a liquid for treating a test substance contained in a specimen is installed and a detector configured to detect the test substance treated with the liquid within the cartridge installed in the installation part; a lid part arranged rotatably on the main body about a shaft so as to open and close the installation part; a biasing part biasing the lid part in an opening direction; and a plurality of regulators each generating resistance against a biasing force in the opening direction at different timing during an opening motion of the lid part.

  • Publication number: 20230414076
Abstract: An endoscope system includes: an endoscope equipped with an insertion portion inserted into a subject; a heating element provided in the insertion portion and configured to generate heat; a temperature sensor configured to acquire heating element temperature data on temperature of the heating element; and a processor. The processor outputs initial surface temperature, which is data on insertion portion surface temperature at a first time point prior to a heating start time of the heating element, based on the heating element temperature data at the first time point and estimates changes in the insertion portion surface temperature over time after the first time point based on the heating element temperature data after the first time point using the initial surface temperature as an initial value of the insertion portion surface temperature.

  • Publication number: 20230414077
Abstract: A rigidity control apparatus includes a processor and controls a variable-rigidity apparatus. The variable-rigidity apparatus includes a variable-rigidity member, flexural rigidity of which increases when the variable-rigidity member is heated, and a heater configured to be able to heat the variable-rigidity member. The processor calculates information about temperature of the heater, and estimates information about temperature of the variable-rigidity member based on the information about the temperature of the heater.

  • Patent number: 9649288
Abstract: An inhibitor of visceral fat loss is capable of suppressing body weight loss peculiarly found in Parkinson's disease patients. The inhibitor of visceral fat loss in Parkinson's disease patients of the present invention contains a lipid obtained by subjecting a medium-chain triglyceride that includes as a constitutive fatty acid at least one of a saturated fatty acid having 8 carbon atoms and a saturated fatty acid having 10 carbon atoms to a transesterification reaction with a vegetable oil. The lipid is preferably obtained by subjecting the medium-chain triglyceride to a transesterification reaction with the vegetable oil at a ratio of 10:90 to 20:80.
