    Abstract: In order to clean hair clippings from the joint (2) of scissors (1), it is proposed that at least one scissor half (3, 4) be designed to have a depression (11) to flush out the joint (2), said depression ending in a slot (9) of the joint (2), wherein the depression (11) is enclosed by a pivot area (10), wherein the depression (11) is at least partially surrounded by a wall (12), and wherein the depression (11) has an outlet (14) for the cleaning agent to drain off (FIG. 1).
