Abstract: The present invention relates to a software zoom feature capable of magnifying data plotted on a graph. The graph may display any type of data including medical data. The graph may also be customizable as to the type of data displayed. The data that is to be magnified by the zoom feature may be selected using a click and drag technique with an input device, such as a mouse, connected to a computer.

Abstract: A system for facilitating patient centric healthcare information maintenance. For example, a health management software system may be operated to receive, organize, and use patient medical information. The health management software may comprise a database for storing, retrieving, organizing, displaying, and, generally, for managing a patient's health. In one exemplary embodiment, the health management software system is used in conjunction with a healthcare maintenance device, such as a blood glucose monitoring system. The blood glucose monitoring system may contain several database objects in the form of data records. Typically in a portable blood glucose monitor, each data record contains a time and a concentration data element, or a time-amount point. Similarly, an insulin pump, which is another exemplary embodiment of a healthcare maintenance device, may maintain data records with time and dosage information, or a time-dosage point.

Abstract: A system and method for reporting medical information permits a user to output reports containing the information in multiple formats. The user can select report recipients, report templates and output formats. The report templates can be populated with data stored in a database. Different recipients can receive the reports in different formats and/or languages. Different recipients can also receive reports generated from the same template but containing different data.
