  • Publication number: 20120118602
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for providing an electrical distribution panel enclosure including a front door and an access door. The enclosure has a rear wall having side walls, a top wall, and a bottom wall extending from the rear wall to define a front opening to an interior of the enclosure. The enclosure houses a plurality of electrical devices. The front door is coupled to the enclosure to cover the front opening. The front door also includes an access opening that provides access to less than all of the plurality of the electrical devices when the front door is closed. The access door is coupled to the front door and covers the access opening. The access door moves with respect to the front door to provide access to less than all of the plurality of electrical devices.

  • Patent number: 6743987
Abstract: A removal deterrence structure for a pair of circuit breaker disposed in an enclosure having an interlock assembly. A pair of circuit breakers are disposed within the enclosure. The interlock assembly is also disposed within the enclosure and structured to allow only one of the circuit breakers to be closed at a time. The interlock assembly is coupled to the circuit breakers by fasteners that cannot be decoupled from the circuit breakers unless the enclosure is disassembled.

  • Patent number: 6012937
Abstract: Angle members forming the vertically extending supply buses in a meter center have arcuate offsets so that flanges on the ends of horizontally extending tenant buses form tenant stab contacts which are vertically aligned with supply stab contacts on straight sections of the outwardly projecting flanges of the supply bus angle members. Meter socket assemblies have double ended fastenerless meter jaws one pair of which plug onto the supply bus stab contacts and another pair of which plug onto the tenant bus stab contacts, and into which the meters are plugged. The double ended fastenerless meter jaws are fabricated from a pair of elongated flat members having end sections bent back on and diverging from straight center sections, and terminal sections which extend toward each other from the end sections and converge slightly toward the center sections. Spring clips clamp the terminal sections of the pair of elongated members in compliant confronting relationship to form the double ended fastenerless meter jaws.
