  • Publication number: 20210240980
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for a finalized processed image and related data to identify a spatial location of each pupil in the region. Each pupil is identified by a two-dimensional spatial coordinate. The method includes processing information associated with each pupil identified by the two-dimensional spatial coordinate to output a plurality of two-dimensional spatial coordinates, each of which is in reference to a time, in a two-dimensional space. The method then includes outputting a gaze information about the human user. The gaze information includes the two-dimensional spatial coordinates each of which is in reference to a time in a two-dimensional space.

  • Publication number: 20210232304
Abstract: A process, and corresponding system for performing the process, is described for editing and representing property values for a digital map. The process retrieves electronic map data from a style sheet corresponding to a vector map tile set for a digital map and displays map layer styles in a property editor panel, where each map style layer references a portion of the data and one or more visual style rules to apply to the portion. The process also displays a visual map with the map layer styles applied. Upon receiving selection of one or more map style layers from the plurality of map style layers, the process displays style layer properties and values corresponding to each. The process renders in the visual map only the selected one or more style layers marked as visible. As edits are made in the property editor panel, the visual map is updated to reflect the changes.

  • Publication number: 20210201624
Abstract: A progressive pool controller within a gaming environment can have programmable contents thereof retrieved or changed without need for user interaction with the controller other than inserting a dynamically-linkable and reprogrammable storage device (e.g., a USB flash drive) into an I/O receptacle of the controller. The controller has a service automatically repeatedly executing therein, checking for insertion of the storage device, checking for recognizable commands within the inserted storage device after it is inserted, executing command following programs for the recognizable commands, saving output results of the executed programs into the inserted storage device and signaling that the storage device should be removed from the I/O receptacle upon completed execution of all the command following programs. Contents of the storage device remain encrypted when in transit and are exposed within secured confines of the controller.

  • Publication number: 20210182886
Abstract: The present teaching relates to method, system, and medium for profiling accounts. A plurality of identifiers are obtained, wherein each of the plurality of identifiers is associated with one of a device operated by a user and a platform on which the user consumes content in one or more media types. An account corresponding to the user is created, wherein the account represents the user across devices, platforms, and/or media types. A persistent identifier is generated for the account, wherein the persistent identifier links the plurality of identifiers. Consumption data related to the account with the persistent identifier is obtained. The consumption data is gathered from sources associated with the plurality of identifiers across different devices, platforms, or media types, and the account is profiled based on the obtained consumption data.

  • Publication number: 20210173702
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for implementing scheduler queue assignment burst mode are disclosed. A scheduler queue assignment unit receives a dispatch packet with a plurality of operations from a decode unit in each clock cycle. The scheduler queue assignment unit determines if the number of operations in the dispatch packet for any class of operations is greater than a corresponding threshold for dispatching to the scheduler queues in a single cycle. If the number of operations for a given class is greater than the corresponding threshold, and if a burst mode counter is less than a burst mode window threshold, the scheduler queue assignment unit dispatches the extra number of operations for the given class in a single cycle. By operating in burst mode for a given operation class during a small number of cycles, processor throughput can be increased without starving the processor of other operation classes.

  • Publication number: 20210166857
Abstract: A transformer includes an isolation core casing of a power converter. The transformer includes a primary winding, a secondary winding, a magnetic core, a cover, and a cup. The cover and cup are joined and sealed together to form the core casing. The primary winding is wound directly on the magnetic core, and the magnetic core is sealed within the core casing. The secondary winding is wound around the core casing such that the primary and secondary windings are electrically isolated from each other by a solid insulation barrier provided by the core casing, resulting in no increase in the creepage or the clearance path between the primary and the secondary windings, which allows the transformer to be miniaturized without negatively affecting safety and converter performance due to leakage inductance.

  • Publication number: 20210167122
Abstract: Pixelated-LED chips and related methods are disclosed. A pixelated-LED chip includes an active layer with independently electrically accessible active layer portions arranged on or over a light-transmissive substrate. The active layer portions are configured to illuminate different light-transmissive substrate portions to form pixels. Various enhancements may beneficially provide increased contrast (i.e., reduced cross-talk between pixels) and/or promote inter-pixel illumination homogeneity, without unduly restricting light utilization efficiency. In some aspects, an underfill material with improved surface coverage is provided between adjacent pixels of a pixelated-LED chip. The underfill material may be arranged to cover all lateral surfaces between the adjacent pixels. In some aspects, discontinuous substrate portions are formed before application of underfill materials. In some aspects, a wetting layer is provided to improve wicking or flow of underfill materials during various fabrication steps.

  • Patent number: 11016002
Abstract: In situ vibration-based verification of vehicle doors may be performed to identify defects in the doors. An example vehicle includes a vibration exciter affixed to a door and a vibration sensor affixed to a window of the door. The example vehicle also includes a processor coupled to memory storing expected vibration data. The processor performs, via the vibration exciter, a sine sweep on the door and measures, via the vibration sensor, a vibration response of the door to the sine sweep. Based on the vibration response and the expected vibration data, the processor determines whether the door is defective.
