Patent number: 11957596Abstract: An implant includes a curved first plate section having a curvature about a longitudinal axis extending in a longitudinal direction. The first plate section has a first hole and a second hole. The first hole and the second hole are positioned to receive respective bone screws for attaching the implant to a first curved surface of a bone having a syndesmosis. A second plate section extends continuously from the first plate section. The second plate section has at least a third hole that is positioned to be offset from the first hole and the second hole in a direction that is anterior or posterior from the first hole and the second hole in a case where the longitudinal axis is aligned along a superior-inferior direction. The third hole is configured to receive at least one screw or at least one button for holding a suture at a position offset from the first line segment hole and the second hole in the anterior or posterior direction, for reducing the syndesmosis.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 2023Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: WRIGHT MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventors: Scott A. Publication number: 20230256522Abstract: A handheld powered pocket hole drilling system is provided. The system includes a base assembly having a plate. The plate has a drill bit opening extending through the plate. The system includes a drilling assembly and a drill bit connected to the drilling assembly. A drill guide assembly is operably connected to the base assembly and the drilling assembly. The drilling assembly is movable along the drill guide assembly to extend and retract the drill bit through the drill bit opening at an angle. An actuating assembly is operably connected to the drilling assembly. The actuating assembly is configured to move the drilling assembly and drill bit between a retracted position and an extended position. In some arrangements, the actuating assembly moves a drilling assembly and drill bit rearward and downward to the extended position and a handle of the actuating assembly is moved forward and downward.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 13, 2023Publication date: August 17, 2023Inventors: Neil M. Holland, Timothy J. Forbes, Scott Schaaf, Nathan Scott Combs

Patent number: 11701721Abstract: An adaptive cutting system is presented that facilitates cutting workpieces in new and different ways in a fun, easy, fast, accurate and safe manner. The system includes a benchtop having a grid of bench dog holes across its surface as well as a pair of table tracks embedded within its surface. An edge track extends around the benchtop and a pair of hinge members are connected to the edge tracks that also connect to a saw track that is movable between a raised and lowered position. The system also includes narrow rip stops, wide rip stops, bench dogs and a miter gauge all of which work in concert with the on-table features to facilitate on-table measurement and alignment of workpieces for performing cutting operations.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2022Date of Patent: July 18, 2023Assignee: Kreg Enterprises, Inc.Inventors: Joseph W. Patent number: 5162663Abstract: A single transformer converter which may switchably disconnect all of its converter outputs, or alternatively just some of the converter outputs. In some electronic systems this would allow the turning-off of some units, such as printers, while leaving on other units, such as a CPU or a twenty-four hour clock. Further, an uninterruptible output is provided by the converter to maintain applications and operating systems software stored a CMOS RAM even in the event of a power outage.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 1990Date of Patent: November 10, 1992Assignee: NCR CorporationInventors: Scott A.
