  • Publication number: 20240050791
Abstract: Automatic fire protection sprinkler assemblies having a trigger assembly with a thermally responsive element and a yoke that seats and facilitates heat flow over the thermally responsive element. The yoke includes an elongate support member with a central region centered between two end portions with linear portions extending between the central region and the end portions. The yoke defines a heat impact region in which the end of the trigger assembly is received and seated. The yoke also provides a lateral access to define a fluid flow path in fluid communication with the heat impact region to facilitate heat flow over the thermally responsive element.

  • Patent number: 11859366
Abstract: A retractable tooth bucket configured to provide both digging and grading functionality on a worksite. The retractable tooth bucket has a bucket joined to a first bracket and a second bracket. A first pivot frame joined to the first bracket. A second pivot frame is joined to the second bracket. A first and second mounting brackets are joined to the bucket. A cylinder is joined to the hydraulic ram, and the first and second pivot frames. A hydraulic fluid line is joined to the hydraulic ram. Three cross members are joined to the first and second pivot frames. Five spines are joined to the third cross member and arranged against a pivot pin. Engaging the hydraulic ram causes spines to extend away from the bucket.

  • Publication number: 20220219185
Abstract: A sprinkler guard for protection of a fire protection sprinkler to define one or more dimensional relationships between the guard and the sprinkler. The sprinkler guard includes a cage that defines an internal volume for housing operational components of the sprinkler including a fluid deflector and thermally responsive trigger. The sprinkler guard locates the deflector within the internal volume with an upper boundary of the cage spaced at a clearance distance from the fluid deflector and a lower boundary of the cage located between the deflector member and a fluid outlet of the sprinkler frame body. Affixed to the cage is a clamp assembly defining a hinged relationship for securing the sprinkler guard to the fire protection sprinkler and housing components of the sprinkler guard cage.

  • Patent number: 8960319
Abstract: A sprinkler assembly having a base including a passageway, an inlet opening communicating with a pressurized fluid source, an outlet opening for outputting a flow of pressurized fluid along a flow path, and an axis extending through the outlet opening. The sprinkler assembly further comprises a top engaging the base and a deployment assembly supporting a flow shaper assembly. The deployment assembly is movably mounted to either the base or the top and is movable horizontally between a retracted position and an extended position for dispersing the pressurized fluid from the outlet opening. A heat responsive trigger is mounted to releasably retain the deployment assembly within the retracted position.
