  • Publication number: 20240140590
Abstract: Disclosed are electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft gaming apparatuses and methods. In one embodiment, a video game apparatus comprises a processor, a first inceptor, communicatively coupled to the processor, the first inceptor configured to accept longitudinal and lateral linear movements as manual input and provide corresponding signals to the processor, and a second inceptor, communicatively coupled to the processor, the second inceptor configured to accept longitudinal and lateral linear movements as manual input and provide corresponding signals to the processor, wherein the processor is configured to control a heading of an aircraft in a video game using a signal received from the second inceptor corresponding to lateral linear movement of the second inceptor. Some embodiments may additionally include at least one sensor and a thumb stick for each inceptor.

  • Publication number: 20240099720
Abstract: An occlusive device can include a segment including an open end and a proximal end. The occlusive device can include a push wire that is positioned proximal of the proximal end. The occlusive device can include a detachment feature that is attached to the push wire via a detachment groove. The occlusive device can include a sleeve surrounding the push wire. In a non-deployed configuration, the sleeve can surround the detachment feature and prevent release of the proximal end of the segment from the push wire. In a deployed configuration, the proximal end can be flush with a proximal end of the spherical cavity.

  • Publication number: 20240065699
Abstract: An endovascular implant detachment mechanism is disclosed that can include an endovascular implant, a connector, a push wire, and one or more lock wires. The connector can be attached to a pinched end of the implant and can include an aperture at a second end. The connector can include a generally circular cavity distal to the aperture. The push wire can have a distal end including one or more slotted openings and configured to fit into the aperture in a first orientation. The one or more lock wires can be configured to fit into the aperture while the distal end of the push wire is in a second orientation. Axial rotation of the push wire can cause the distal end of the push wire to move from the first orientation into the second orientation and secure the push wire to the implant.

  • Publication number: 20240029579
Abstract: Interactive augmented-reality technologies track simulated-radiation exposure of a user moving through a physical scene. The simulated-radiation exposure tracking is performed using radiation voxels associated with a simulated radiation field caused as if a radioactive source of a particular type was emitting radiation from a predetermined location of the scene. Each radiation voxel is indicative of a respective level of the simulated radiation field at the voxel's scene location.

  • Publication number: 20220297022
Abstract: An amusement device in the general form of a reusable water capsule that explodes with the affect of toys commonly referred to as water-balloons and the like. User may choice between a reusable exploding water capsule to be thrown at a target and a device for shooting a directional stream of water similar to a “squirt gun”. A variety of various shaped flexible components each of which including a first wall with a first wall external surface and a first wall internal surface, and a second wall with a second wall external surface and a second wall internal surface for interconnection. This toy may be used as packaging, within the capsule, for additional items. The combination of unique design with the typically chosen softness of the material used to make the capsule means much of the kinetic energy in a throw is dissipated in a water burst.

  • Patent number: 4756305
Abstract: An eye training device for treating one or more visual disorders in a patient, which displays two images visually superimposable into a single image and optically conducts one of the images to a right eye viewing port and the other image to a left eye viewing port. The device further includes an assembly for modifying the perception of one or both images by the patient to differ from the perception required for normal viewing of the images to exercise corresponding one or both eyes of the patient. At least one of the first and second images has a first image element whose location is changeble relative to the other image elements, and the device further includes a mechanism which is operable by the patient to move the first image element while the patient views through the viewing ports.
