Abstract: A system and method for tuning hormone receptors through the dynamic intravenous introduction of a hormone in a manner that mimics a target physiological secretion cadence of that hormone is presented herein. In particular, a dosing model is developed with a desired goal of creating a hormone delivery plan with a dosing waveform that resembles a waveform associated with the target physiological secretion cadence of the hormone. Several bolus delivery specifications, including volume, frequency and pressure, are dynamically defined such that, over a specified period of time, the bolus introductions create the desired dosing waveform. The dosing model is then executed through a plurality of successive and dynamic intravenous exogenous bolus introductions of the hormone according to the plurality of bolus delivery specifications.
